This was beautiful! Very poignant too, realising that Cas' faith in Dean meant more than his faith in something/someone other than his 'father', is amazing! I hope that made sense... I'm useless at this sort of thing. Needless to say, I loved it and it is now marked as one of my favourites!

A really beautiful character study of Castiel, and you're right on the money in my opinion about how Cas has slowly been putting his faith in Dean more than his Father. Also, that even if he says he doesn't have the same faith Sam has in Dean, he will never truly loose faith in him. I hope that they reconcile in the canon world, if they skip a 'chick-flick' moment between them, I will not be happy.

Anyway, back to your fantabulous (yes that is a word in my world! lol) fic. I've never heard that particular Coldplay song, but I will for sure check it out now :-D

I adore how it's a slow reveal of Cas' feelings, how he gradually becomes aware of how he feels about Dean - love that it's Dean's need to help someone in any way shape or form, his selflessness, that is the catalyst for him. Seriously, your fics are just flaming the fire of my Dean/Cas addiction! And that is nto a bad thing!
