Wow. This is a stunning scene you've written. Kanda is just perfect the way you characterized him, as well as his feelings for Allen.

Whether slash or not this line: "If Kanda was the night then Allen was the moon and the snow that covered the earth, softening the shadows" is exactly right. The moon the lights up the night, this metaphor is lovely and so fitting.

I love the end.

Really you did an amazing job here; profound characterizations, beautiful imagery, poignant story-telling written in raw, exquisite prose. Superb writing.
