...I've.. been looking for a fic of this kind..*sniff* It was short but it was everything that took me to break into tears. And I don't even know why because it's just a manga character, but I was so deeply into him.. I just can't believe it. I'm so shocked about Ace's death. I simply can't believe he's gone. He will be missed by everyone! It will sure take me a while to cope with it TT_TT You know, I wonder why did Oda decide to kill Ace. Besides the fact that it makes the story a lot more complicated and who knows how (and if, of course) Luffy will change after his death. I wonder if he will become more serious or something.. who knows(though i seriously doubt it cuz luffy never stays sad for too long, but it's still a good idea for a story :P). Maybe oda got back on his fans, because A LOT of people were always saying 'what the hell, no one never dies in one piece, that's not cool man..' But it probably doesnt matter anymore, because Ace already died...

-sigh- where are the dragon balls when you need them...

I know how dare they kill off my beloved Ace san! I was so upset when I saw that chapter that I called my best friend who knows nothing about one piece and ranted about how they killed him! It's refreshing to know that someone else was upset about it and your little ficlet is kind of like closure almost. Thank you very much for writing it :)

I miss him so much ,but Oda-san has probably plan this for about a year. Lets Just can't wait till Luffy will beat that other guy up...Oh...and...GREAT STORY!
