I love the way you write the tension here, bringing in the air and the elements to show it. The mix between Sakura being so sure and yet unsure at the same time rings true to her character, as well as Kakashi trying at first to put it off on her and blame her youth.

My favorite part was that even that one kiss WAS the beginning of something epic, as is so common in manga/anime, you didn't write it like it was inevitable. There's a story untold here and I enjoyed that hint.
