SilentMelodyz chapter 28 . 2/1/2013 I just spent the last two days reading this and I am absolutely in love with it. Took me awhile to get used to how you portrayed the sg bots, since I am already used to their original design and personalities. But I am not complaining. You did a marvelous job with this story. You written this out real well. |

Zea T chapter 28 . 8/29/2011 Wow, that was a fascinating and suspenseful story. It was interesting to see your take on the Shattered Glass concept, and how you boiled down each mech to their core values when determining what would change and what wouldn't. I loved the sheer cruelty of an SG Prowl with all of our Prowl's intellect, determination and skill but none of his morals or basic nobility, I enjoyed seeing an SG Prime leading his people regardless of the cost to others, and the fundamental nobility and dedication of Starscream in any universe. It was interesting to see how the Earth-bots and -cons had more in common than either group did with their SG counterparts (or opposites). And then, of course, there's the universe-spanning catastrophe-in-waiting that is Jazz and Prowl. The high emotions between all four of them were well-written and almost painful to read. This was one of those stories that made me wonder if they could ever have a happy ending, particularly (of course) in the last few chapters. I was wondering if it would take a spark bond to stabilise Jazz after the injury you described, and when Prowl went down too... I guess if you were ever to write a universe-spanning sequel to this (and I notice you left communications open), a spark bond might still give you a get-out clause that to let Jazz to use the bridge safely (by drawing on Prowl's strength). As it was though, you used the injuries well to set up the only really plausible solution for the SG-verse. The SG Autobots were never going to accept Starscream in charge, and without a firm hand chaos, death and destruction would be inevitable. All in all, this was a great story, that I very much enjoyed reading. Even where it was dark and tragic, the violence wasn't gratuitous but focused out minds on the characters and the journey each was going through. Thanks for writing a good read! |
moonlightbeam305 chapter 16 . 8/16/2011 *wimpers* Jazz...T_T *sobs* JAZZ! *collapses on the floor* You can't do this! *wails in agony* |
moonlightbeam305 chapter 15 . 8/16/2011 NOOOOO! NOT JAZZ! ANYONE BUT JAZZ (okay not Prowl) T_T Jesus Christ! I'm screaming while I'm reading this! |
DemonSurfer chapter 28 . 8/12/2011 Holeeeeee crap. Wow. What a ride. First off, I love what you did with the personalities of the alternate 'verse characters. Instead of following how they act in the SG universe you gave them their regular personalities, only plus or minus morals. This was a lot more beliveable for me than having to watch a simpering sycophantic Starscream run amok. Blah. I can't even think. I've been reading this fic over the course of two days and my brain is numb. Good job, you. Excellent job. |
