Absolutely wonderful! This is a very well-written ficlet. I wasn't sure how I felt about the creative license taken in putting together the James/Marlene dilemma, but it made for a great plot. You did such an amazing job of portraying Sirius's devotion to his best friend. I also love that you put James in such an admirable light in this story. A lot of HP fans don't like James, but I think you showcased his best qualities here, so thank you for doing that.

Awesome. I liked the part between James' "I hate you" after Sirius tells him he's dating Marelene(sp?) and Sirius' “You’d never put my death on Moony’s conscience.” It was so funny.

I would say that you got Sirius' personality nailed but the thing is that how do we really know what Sirius was like as a teenager.

How can Sirius/James/Remus/Peter be OOC during their teenage years? We never looked into this part of the story but people still review others stories saying 'James is way OOC', 'Sirius is not like he was in the books.'

It is not our choice to say what the marauders era was like during their time at Hogwarts. Sirius could have been fun, stupid,crazy and James could like Quidditch but not be Quidditch obsessed.

And now my rant is over. But to finish it off I would like to say that I am glad you have written another story, a brilliant story at that, and that you are my favourite author.

This is great. It's an interesting little plot that, while not that life-changing, really illustrates the depth of Sirius's appreciation for James. I think it's sweet and very well-written.

Amazing story. I love how you set up the timeline; just little snippets of everyday life over the course of a couple months. The way you wrote this was very effective. Also, Iv'e read so many fics in which Sirius is way out of character, but you nailed him. Your story is extremely well written. Great job!
