I know I'm *really* late to the party, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for writing such a great story. I've been reading it over the past few days, trying to drag it out a little because I didn't want to get to the last chapter - and at the same time I could hardly keep myself from reading. Usually, I'm not much into AUs - hell, I'm usually a die hard Lindsey/Darla and Cordy/Angel shipper - but you actually made me fall totally in love with the idea of Lindsey/Cordy, too. Your characters were spot on and I really enjoyed the story you laid out here. Such great writing! Two thumbs up!

This may be my fourth time through this story, so I thought I should leave you a review to let you know how much I love it. You have everything about these characters so on point-their voices, mannerisms, inner voices. And the story, the relationships, everything is so intriguing. But best of all, even though I know what happens, I just love reading it again to watch it all over. I love that you ran with the possibility that Wedon was going to develop a relationship between Lindsey and Cordelia if Kane hadn't taken a break from the show. I just love the electricity between the two of them-the antagonism and the attraction.

Awesome story! I don't think I quite managed to not laugh at least a little in class and I've been reading it all day :) you are a great writer and I loved how distinct you made the characters, they each and out unique and that can be really hard sometimes, awesome story, awesome writing :)

This was a good fic and I do prefer Lindsey's fate here to the one he got in the show. However, I had a problem with how you portrayed the relationship. You did warn early on that Lindsey would have to give up everything, do all the changing, and Cordelia would have to do nothing, but I hate that she won all their arguments. She was never wrong ( not in matters of morality, but even in emotion) and she never had to compromise and that just made it all really unbelievable.. Cordelia isn't perfect and having her make all the hard, but perfect choices, getting kind of self righteous, took me out of the story a lot.

I had to come back and read this wonderful story again - I think I've read it about a dozen times now and it's one of my faves. The way you've captured the essence of Cordy and Lindsey is just fantastic and your writing style is amazing.

That was me exploding from the cuteness. Lindsey is just to die for and then adding Cordy to the mix...aaaaagh.

I recently got back to Angel, and instantly, and inexplicably, fell in love with the Lindsey/Cordelia pairing. It's such a shame there isn't more of that out there! This story was the first one I read for L/C with a lengthy, thought-out, beautifully written storyline. I started out reading as much as I could at a sitting because I couldn't get enough, and then slowing down as there were fewer and fewer chapters left because I didn't want it to end. Everything about this was perfect.. The characterization, the story line WORKED, even bringing in the Scooby Gang added to the story and didn't make me wish I could just get back to strictly L/C like a lot of other pieces I've read do. I truly wish and hope that you will one day choose to revisit this couple and take them, and us readers!, on another adventure. I don't think I could ever get tired of reading your stories for them! Congratulations on an amazing pieces of work!
