How did Heero, Wufei, and Duo all end up in the same hospital anyway? Weren't they downed a good distance apart from one another?

One has to wonder... if Heero really isn't dead, why kill himself?
'Course he was kinda suicidal in the first saga, so it's not all that surprising he ended back at that state of mind once he only had Wufei to lean on... who was also hurting.
Suicide doesn't make much sense, most of the time. So I suppose I can let it slide.

So far I'd say your medical and weapon bs is plausible... and remember. It's the future. They can have better med crap than us.

Hmmm... I understand the concept of holding off of suicide for one person.
In my case it was my best friend in middle school. We were both depressed (not that we spoke about it) and our whole lunch table forced food on her (she was a gymnast and ate little to begin with) although I did find out about her cutting in HS I tried to keep her from going the ED route.
I didn't do anything because I knew if I died, she would follow. Well... there were probably more reasons too. But I kept myself very contained to keep her safe.
As it is, I hope the middle school got a better guidance counselor. I was clearly at risk and all they did was call me to the office once where I intimidated the crap out of the counselor.
But what I'm trying to get at is that I think Duo is very believable. I also think his refusal of therapy is believable. From an author's point of view, it makes the story a little easier to write. Psychobabble is difficult to do unless warping it into a weapon.
I'm not downing therapy... it has helped my mother loads. But I don't hold any shrink in esteem until they proven themselves.
That's hold over from a 13 year old girl stonewalling and "defeating" a school shrink. Hold your ground you sniveling little bastard.
As it is, I think shrinks have to be somewhat sadistic and masochistic. I think I heard somewhere that it, as a profession, has one of the highest suicide rates.
Listening to other's misery day in and out. Grant it, most want to help, but I can totally see where Duo is coming from.
Ok, I'm going to go read the next one... maybe I'll write a more coherent and concise review for one of your other fics.

I've been spending the past two days going through these Sub Rosa sagas. I was going to wait til the very end to tell you how much I love this, but this one made me cry so bad I had to leave a review. :) You're an excellent writer and I am very glad I'm reading this after it's complete!

I actually cried at one point D': God I'm a sucker for Duo angst and you write it so well too. Im happy to see Trowa back in the game as well :) It was fun to see him worry and try to be mad at the same time lol

I'm...confused. In fact, this has confused me since the first time I read this, but I kept forgetting to ask.

Duo wrote the I Have Torn Your Wings poem, that I know. But then...after he wrote down everything else...did he write another poem? I'm confused.

If he did, will we ever see this poem?

I could not move along to the next tale, however, without telling you how much I love this saga - and how much this story in particular BROKE me. You are an amazingly talented writer - and I am so ever so much thankful that you are sharing the wonderful stories inside you with the rest of us. Even though I -know- you don't write death fics, I was perilously close to tears several times. That's a good thing by the way .;; I like being reminded that I have a heart, lol.

Heero...wow. I feel so foolish for not even considering him being under-cover. -Huffs- I must be suffering from severe sleep-deprivation, because I know Heero would never treat Duo that way. He'd die first. Silly me, thinking Heero was a cyborg creeper.

I'm so glad Trowa has finally started to get over himself, honestly. I was getting tired of his antics XP

I wonder if you've ever thought of taking Duo's poems (at least the ones mentioned, if you don't have more) and publishing them in a separate fic? I really really like them, and if they were separated they'd be easier to find to re-read .

Well I am through this portion of the Sub Rosa Saga and I am in tears...Duo with all his emotions and depression and Heero with all his inability to communicate... makes for great fan fiction. Kudos to you ... applause... can't wait to read the next part of the saga but I guess I need to sleep, too... drat biology.

I loved it, but you have a few mistakes about Strychnine. firs of all, Strychnine is one of the most bitter substances known. Its taste is detectable in concentrations as low as 1 ppm, so it would'nt of tasted like water. Second, a lethal dose was cited as 1/2 a grain (32 mg) and you need 0.03 gram for every 100 init. for it to blend. Third, There is no specific antidote for strychnine. Treatment of strychnine poisoning involves an oral application of an activated charcoal infusion which serves to absorb any poison within the digestive tract that has not yet been absorbed into the blood. Anticonvulsants such as phenobarbital or diazepam are administered to control convulsions, along with muscle relaxants such as dantrolene to combat muscle rigidity.[1] If the patient survives past 24 hours, recovery is probable. Other then that it is pretty much accurate. by the way,Strychnine's Molecular formula is C21H22N2O2, the most common source is from the seeds of the Strychnos nux vomica tree.
