BUT CAN THE MASTER EMERALD SHOW KNUCKLES WHY KIDS LOVE CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH?

This review probably won't mean shit to you since this fic was posted, like, two years ago. But nevertheless I felt compelled to say that I really like this. It's high-quality, concise and deep. You did a great job with it.

This... is truly an eerie interpretation of Knuckles' true nature of his "duty".

Damn, it gave me shivers.

The best Knuckles and Master Emerald fic I have ever read. Hands down.

You are the definition of summing up a charecters pain, burdens, hopes, and dreams, except here, Knuckles hopes and dreams have been shattered by It. The Master Emerald.

The interesting part is that I never thought of his duty forced. I always thought he was happy with standing next to that damned stone all his life. And I never thought that is could tell him the future of his friends acomplishments and deaths. Even showing him the end of the world! How you showed us an alternate version of his duty, was just perfectly written. The emotion this showed me was absoulutely breath-taking and incredible. Dark and foreboding. Not a bad, stupid, and pointless fanfiction that has no meaning and no point. There's many of those fics out there, and you are not one of those writters. Thank god.

How Rouge also effected him was very well explained, she was called the beautiful woman, huh? Knuckles sign of hope. And how she died was unfortunate, though.

Everything here clicks perfectly into place, but the only thing I have to ask is, Shadow's immortal child. Rouge is mortal, and Shadow is obviously immortal, so, should that make their child somewhat mortal? As in, ages very slowly, but will still die of old age?

And there's Tail's addiction to morphine. What I know of that drug, is it's mostly used for medical purposes, for sedation. And it's not really being abused these days, and personally, I don't think a freaking genius like himself will be dumb enough to even get addicted.

Ambivalence is a one-shot that is a story for every one to read. Some people think that they have it bad, read this, and they'll be skeptic. A wonderful example of what can go wrong in such a protected, and child friendly world Sega made for them. Great job on giving the charecters a taste of pain.

Nasty! And yet thoroughly enjoyable - for the reader if not for poor Knux!

Wow this was a deep story. I like the love/hate relationship between Knuckles and the master emerald. Also nice job portraying the future of Sonic and the gang. It was dark yet somehow fitting in a any case great story.

This was a very interesting concept. You have created a contrast between the ideas of Knuckles hating and loving the Master Emerald which I haven't read anywhere else. Overall, well done. You conveyed it very well.

Chilling and masterful, while at the same time, original. In less than two thousand words, you convinced me that Knuckles hates the Master Emerald, an idea I would have previously thought ludicrous. Well done! 9.2/10

Definitely disturbing. And yet, having seen SonicX, I can see the Emerald doing something like this.

...Wow. That was an interesting read, and I can't say for sure what emotion that gave me. I gotta say, though, my favorite bit has got to be the second-to-last line.

After all the crap that emeralds puts him through, he has to set that same burden on someone else.

This interpretation of knuckles is very different. So is your depiction of the master emerald. I liked how you always capitalized "It" as if to say the master emerald was a God. This was cool, keep it up!

Wow. The angst! This story is very poignant. You have done a wonderful job with your story, and I was touched by the part where Shadow and his kid commited suicide. I am beginning to hate the Master Emerald! At least Shadow could die...

About Knuckles's tragedy... I couldn't agree more. Well done.

Nice story. You do a great job of exposing the uglier details of Knuckles' duty to the Master Emerald. I must admit I find it difficult to believe that Tails would ever abuse morphine, or that Shadow or any son of his would attempt suicide for any reason (Shadow may have been or still be mourning Maria's death, and he may be antisocial and reserved, but that does NOT make him "emo"). And Knuckles dying in the future by natural means raises another question: How, if at all, does the Master Emerald affect Knuckles' natural longevity? You wrote a great one-shot with this; it's another one for Madhog thy Master's community for sure. Keep up the good work.
