Well, Death must really hate Light. How dare he mess up the schedule of Death? Death isn't evil; he is merely very punctual and extremely good at his job.

Short but sweet; wish it could have been longer with Death giving L a chance of reincarnation on the Disc. Would have been hilarious to read the look on L's face as logic takes a eternity long sabbatical while Deus-literally-ex-Machina all around, solving arguments with lightening bolts.

First, this was a lovely piece I'm glad to have found and read.

Second, the timing joke and rant about the shinigami, time span, and ill-timed deaths were all golden and apropos.

Third, this could stand a rewrite (and I say this only because I'm used to the idea of rewriting most any piece of fiction, particularly good fiction). Death was spot-on, and I enjoyed most of his lines. He was Terry Pratchet's Death after all. But L-I remember him freaking out at the thought that shinigami could exist, but working with relative comfort in Rem's presence. I was just expecting more back-and-forth from L the great detective (and his love of percentages and sweet things) and Death.

Please don't take the above to mean "Yeah, it's good, but it's not great." This fic is awesome-it just takes a lot more words to write a decent critique than a decent "That was so good!"

Not bad. Your Death sometimes seems a little bit OOC and you punctuate dialogue incorrectly, but you did a really good job fitting a Death into the DN universe.

Also, lol at the last three lines. Poor L.
