The way you related this not only to "The Shrine" but showed Rodney's reactions, emotions and enough of both John and his characters to realize that Shepard really does tend to do the hero thing a lot. Nice fic. Sheppard is my favorite character. I love the Sheppard/McKay friendship and the way it's developed as the show has progressed. I like the way you wove elements from "The Shrine" into the fic. Rodney's reactions were very, well, Rodney.
