Great job, besides Bats talked too much in my opinion. In the movies he seems more quiet (well, I would talk as little as possible too when I'd have to use THAT voice)

I stumbled across this while wading through the thousands of Batman fics out there, and let me say that I'm *so* glad that I stopped to read it. It was one of the sweetest things I've read in ages! I swear that I sniffled and maybe choked up a little when Batman covered Gordon with the coat; "My turn this time." And the thought of Batman hiding out in the shadows and helping make sure Gordon was safe... So sweet! This is brilliant, and is totally going in my favorites!
