I rather enjoy this. You succeed in having James now things like taste without him being at all a voyeur or anything but straight. It's a great companion to remuslives' piece, but it's something all it's own that I love.

I'm back! I didn't get to all your stories yesterday, so I'm back today. I can't tell you how nice it has been this week to know that I have a ton of good fanfiction to read waiting for me at home. I started my 2nd year of law school this week - so I needed that extra comfort and a bit of alight at the end of the tunnel (if you will excuse the overused cliche).

But enough about me, I think that you have made me change my mind about drabbles completely. No longer will I be able to look at a drabble and automatically turn away because I have now read this one that is so absolutely perfect. I found my own senses reacting in sympathy as I read this. This fic was almost experienced rather than read. I especially loved the section on "touch". I could almost experience what it would be like to be touched by either of them when I read that.

I really enjoyed reading this. Very well done.

Interesting point of view, where James is both an outsider and someone who understands so well.

I like the sense of James as an outsider looking in on their relationship, but understanding them both so well. And I really like that it's not obvious wihich is velvet and which is steel.

A very nice adjunct to what was a very moving piece by Julie. I love that both you and Julie have made the Marauders so very close that James (and Peter in Julie's fics) is so very supportive of his friends' love for each other.

Only a really really close friend could acknowledge the sentiments that James does for his two best mates.

That was AMAZING! I loved James' view on the situation. I really liked the taste. Oh! and the smell. Remus and Sirius could intoxicate anyone into doing just that with their significant other. Great Job!

The tasting is a little disturbing, but this is a very interesting way of looking at their relationship. I enjoyed it.

Woah, dude, that was amazing. It seemed totally poetic at points, and at others, like a young man assessing and explaining (or trying to) the relationship of two close friends. There was also really good imagery. Wow.

I think this means alot and yes it can stand on its own! I love it. Everything is so sensual! Yes, I can hear you saying 'Duh!' but it is in this consuming poetic sort of way that is beautifully brlliant!
