I LOVE the last line, and this was exactly what I thought of their relationships. You don't have a 'reason' for falling in love with someone that can be brought up just like that - and that's one reason I like DoctorRose so much.

Wow, this was very deep. Very thoughtful, too. I enjoyed reading this.

I'll say this: it was well-written, and I certainly agree with the disparity of the Doctor's feelings for Rose and Martha.

But I also have to disagree with the Doctor being "flummoxed" if asked one reason why he loved Rose. People don't live their lives in a blissful fog-or, at least, they shouldn't. There may be an element of the involuntary in simple attraction, but I think the Doctor is far too analytical and stubborn to not try and understand exactly why he loves Rose, if only to attempt to try and talk himself out of it.

Anyway, that's my take. Maybe I just can't get into it because I'm far to analytical in my own life, but I'll tell you that all my reasoning sure hasn't diminished my in-love-ness with my hubby :)

Very cute. Just to note; a sentence has repeated itself twice (the very first line). I don't know if this phenomenon is something that only happens on my internet browser, or if has some sort of bizarre glitch thing going on, but there you have it.

Anywho, I love short ficclets like these. Stories don't have to be thousands of words long to make them good; it's the content that matters.

There's been a lot of controversy over the whole 'Doctor and Martha' pairing...How some people can adamantly deny that he loved and still loves Rose is beyond me, but what can you do?

This is so true! If you can explain fully why you love someone... you don't really love them. This is short, but ever so sweet and Rose/Ten-ish. I love it.
