*gasp* Oh, I get it! I think Raph is playing matchmaker, isn't he? Something tells me he knows something about Leo and Don that even Leo and Don don't know yet about themselves. Very sly, Raph, very sly.

I feel as if there's more to this story, and that a certain author is just procrastinating...

I don't know if it was your intention, but it really seemed, to me, like Raph was trying to get Don to admit that Leo was the person waiting for him. xD Since Don basically ended up matching Leo's qualities with those he'd want in a lover, and Raph seemed so pleased for some reason...

Beautifully written, I love Don/Raph interactions, they bring out different sides of each other. They compliment each other too, opposites attract and all that.

I think that Raph found a girlfriend. Explains EVERYTHING. Why he's so sure, why he wants to celebrate, why he's in an oddly good mood...

This doesn't feel complete to me. Mostly because of the last sentence where Don's wondering what Raphie's so keen on celebrating, and why Raph was carefully ticking off things that Don wanted in a perfect mate. I saw slash here where it perhaps is not meant to be, and most of it was innocent, but there were a few things here and there when Leo wasn't being talked about where Raphie's reactions made me question what he was doing out there, and what was up with Donnie's final thought about Raphie's true reason for being happy to celebrate. I mean, I got that you were talking about how their family is really a great one and that's something to celebrate any day, because Donnie basically just admitted that he has all he needs in his life though he didn't see it.

Still, it was Raphie's reactions to it that made me wonder, because for all the wisdom Donnie has, he misses details in life that are right in front of him and not under a microscope often. :)

I really liked this. I'm not a slash person and I thought this would turn out strictly as one but I'm glad I stumbled upon it. It's a light and yet, deep conversation. I thought it was nice. Good job.

This was really good! I love seeing the different sides of these two, they're so opposite and when they interact its always interesting. And this was especially great, just because it was a little more positive than what you usually see. Don't get me wrong, I love my angst, but sometimes its nice to relax a little! I'd love to see a continuation...maybe next time we can learn what Raph knows...? I'll be waiting for whatever you come up with next!

Hey, this was great! I really enjoyed the interaction between these two who often seem to have so little to say to each other. Also I liked the fact that even though their attitudes are completely the opposite of what I'm conveying my fic The Talk (I have Raph as the one who thinks there is no one out there for him), I still totally bought this. The characterization was solid. Awesome job. I do like your writing style a lot. :D
