HeartAngel1796 chapter 1 . 9/11/2014 I read this today in honor of 9/11 |
FantasyWorldMiny chapter 1 . 1/16/2009 Thank you so much for writing this. I completely agree with you that people haven't been taking such a tragic event as they really should and are downsizing it. It's kinda strange, you know? For a few weeks after the attacks, everyone was...kinder to each other, like we were all in this together. Then, people started forgetting, or pretending like it didn't happen. Things went back to the way they were and, honestly, it's depressing... I'm glad you wrote this and I hope everyone that reads this story remembers that tragic day and all the lives lost. God Bless America. ~Minyonka |

EnergyHawk chapter 1 . 9/13/2007 Amazing story.m I know I was Kinda young when the attacks happened but I got out of school early and I was watching TV (I lived in CT) and I was all like, Oh My God, that happened? I was only in the third grade so I didnt really understand, but now I do and I really agree with Clay's last line. Wonderfull story. |
ItsMeAdman chapter 1 . 9/12/2007 i live in connecticut, i came out of school and my mom told me and I was like... Wow! I have a neighbor that was pretty much right next to the towers and i was kinda worried, nice story |
alice in a coma chapter 1 . 9/12/2007 That was really touching. It gives me this tingling in my chest that makes me want to go out there and DO something about all the hate in the world. Wonderfully written, with a great amount of good truth in it. I love Clay's last line. Wonderful job! ~Emiko |
Avalon's mists chapter 1 . 9/11/2007 “I can’t imagine people ever being able to forget,” Omi said with a short nod of his head. You'd be surprised Omi. People are already forgetting the Holocaust. 11 million dead and the're forgetting it already. Soon 9/11 will just be another page in a history book. So we must remember, even the things we want to forget. Because saying it never happened won't make it so. |
Northgalus2002 chapter 1 . 9/11/2007 Wow! What a great story! I can't believe that it has been 6 years since 9/11 happened! I still remember that afternoon, when I pulled myself away from the round-the-clock coverage and walked through Capitol Hill (where I live) and it was a vertible ghost town. Even though I didn't lose any loved ones, it was most disturbing thinking we were actually attacked. I can still remember the outpouring of love most of the world showed us after the attacks, including many in the Mid-East. However, I also remember those in the Mid-East who reacted to the attacks by celebrating our disaster, forgetting the lessons of crusades past. Six years later, I wonder just how much 9/11 changed things. We are just as celebrity obsessed as we were before the attacks and we appear to be just as divided as we were before. But the attacks showed everyone that when it mattered most everyone in America came together, Liberal, Conservative, Democrat, Republican, etc., and showed that we would not roll over and play dead. I hope and pray that we never have another attack on our country, I also pray that whoever inherits the White House in 2008 will guide this country to being seen by the world as someone that offers a beacon of opportunity and place of free people. Thank you for the great story! |
Brown Eyed Sage chapter 1 . 9/11/2007 I was living in CT at that time and I was so young back then. Didn't know a thing. When it happened, I remembered how angry and confused I was. But this story did make me think, even though alot of people that died that day there were some that sacrificed themselves to save others. And that it's also upsetting how people don't like what they don't understand. It's all so very sad... But great job on this. You really touched base on what really happened on that day. |
mel chapter 1 . 9/11/2007 Oh...my..god... that was so beautiful Very well written. I was crying while reading this. Fantastic job, I know that we will never forget the day that the worl changed forever. |
Heylin-Shadow chapter 1 . 9/11/2007 god that day was horrible. i live in america and i say god curse al qaeda, may they burn in hell. but your wrong, nothing changed. things like that have been going on for centuries, though it's horrible, and changed the way many people thought, violence isn't new. al qaeda isn't new. ever since the crusades, and still back before, religion has fought religion. and heck we're almost as bad as they. this is refreshing in that it doesn't insult islam. islam is a perfectly good religion, the al qaeda are the evil ones, who take everything so seriously. god that was a horrible day. so many died. can you imagine what it kind of person it takes to do that? that someone is so cold that they'd run an airplane full of people into a tower filled with people, and for what? because they twisted the words of their holy book to mean kill? We will never forget. |
Xoxo Hugs and Kisses chapter 1 . 9/11/2007 That was so sad! Great story! |
xxFireWarriorxx chapter 1 . 9/11/2007 **wipes tear from eye** (sniff, sniff) OMG, that was seriously AMAZING. Such insight and understanding... you did wonderfully. And it's totally true how some ppl completely disregard what happened like it was nothing. 9/11 was s tragic day and ppl need to remember what happened and honor the heroes who did during the tragedy. I think it's great that you chose to remind ppl by using fanficiton. This story basically explained the whole situation while still being fun because it had a XS twist. Utterly amazing. Keep writing. I'm totally faving this! xxFireWarriorxx |
