A charming story. I liked your handling of the relationship as a temporary one, which was good for them both for a time, but came to a natural end without any bitterness - it's a refreshing corrective to most fanfiction! Good insight into why Dean/Ginny couldn't have worked, even without Harry's existence.

The back to school invitation was genuine. Jo put that out not long after the release, too. Hermione went back to school.

wow what an utterly beautiful story! i loved how in character luna was, and how sweet and understanding dean was. the first scene felt very canon, very /real/, like it could've easily fitted into the book, like a little deleted scene. the end was sort of sad, though, but in a lovely, bittersweet way. favorited :)

That was lovely. There was a bit too much telling rather than showing of the character's feelings, but it had a nice, quiet undertone that fit these two's relationship quite well. I think they should have ended up together. You have a pleasing interpretation of Dean's character here. Thank you!

This was a good story! I like how you wrote Dean and Luna's relationship! It really fit. I mean, I kinda had a suspicion at the end of Deathly Hallows. Anyways, I really liked both of their characterization. How you interpreted that Dean liked to protect and take care of people because he was used to it with his family. No wonder Ginny and his relationship didn't work out. Luna was written well too! Anyways, awesome job, I really like your writing style! :)

Wonderfully written! I thoroughly enjoyed this story! It's completely realistic, fitting in perfectly with the books and I think you portrayed Dean and Luna exactly the right way! I would LOVE a sequel, but it wouldn't fit in at all so instead I shall request another Dean/Luna fic! Y'know, I always wondered about what could have been between the two after their ordeal in the Malfoy Mansion, and I think you expanded on those thoughts and emotions wonderfully. I was really rooting for the happy ending, but canon crushes the hope again. D: At any rate, nicely done.
