as many times as I've read this story, it never gets old. Thanks for sharing this. I almost cried. It's very well written.

I really really enjoyed this story. A very original plot and very well written. Thank you so much for writing this! I've read a lot of fanfics on Kenshin and Kaoru and so far, I haven't come across a story quite like this. And probably because of it's originality and because of your great writing, personally, I just really wish you developed chapters 4 and 5 a little more. There are many more emotions and processes that a rape victim goes through (for example: the process of wanting to be cleaner i.e. Kaoru would probably be taking lots of baths and scrubbing herself to try and rid herself of the shame and filth, also she probably would not want to be touched intimately so soon by Kenshin, etc...). As a reader, I would have would have loved the further character development. You also mentioned about maybe writing about Kaoru and her interaction with Sano and Yahiko. I definitely would love to read about how she reveals the story to them as they are as much a part of her family too. I really really really really really hope you pick this story back up and further develop it!

Very nice story. I really like the way the two open up to each other. I do however regret that you picked up the OAV version for Kenshin's scar instead of the manga's version (in which the scar was made unintentionally by Tomoe's knife falling...). Please keep on writing K&K love stories! They are my favourites!

Very well written. The last chapter was incredibly sweet, a very rare thing to see in lemons, certainly something I would like to see more. :) Excellent work!

Okay so I'm going to admit it - I've read a lot of sex scenes in my fanfiction history, but I don't think I have EVER read one that romantic. Really, that was very, very passionate, but in its own way. Not because of the setting or the time, but because of the characters and their connection with one another. I mean, Kenshin was so nice... as expected ;). But... I don't know how to explain myself correctly lol. It was all very innocent, but NOT at the same time, you know? I loved that he was so careful and pleasant and... understanding during it all! It was wonderful!

Aside from that last chapter, the story was good :]]. The beginning was a bit shady for me, not gonna lie. I didn't quite understand when she left/why she didn't return o.0; how'd she get a day down the trail and away from the Dojo. And why didn't' they notice her gone before that? Just tiny things I noticed but were generally unimportant xD.

Oh! And I liked how you incorporated actual Japanese language into the story :). That made it even more romantic! I'm smiling to myself over here, feeling a bit giddy because I really do love your Kenshin's character - which is actually IN-Character, so I'm... thinking about Kenshin? Lol! Take it as a compliment I suppose!

Anyways, lovely story and you did an amazing job with the romantic aspect of it as well as their little bonding secession in chapter three, which I really enjoyed reading for some reason :D. Usually too much dialogue like that annoys me, but I liked it here! Great, great job! And I'm gonna drop you a thank you for writing the story so we all get the chance to read this!
