Oh I LOVE this , i guess i personally ship ANYONE. / Vaan (EXCEPT Ashe, i just kinda hate that woman)
Personally Penelo is my fav. ( after Vaan ) , but that's probably because i have a soft spot for children in general , i am disappointed though by her nonexistent plot importance , ( objectively speaking so did Vaan ) i just felt she had potential if she were given a chance

So I'm trying to decide which final fantasy to get first, ffx or ffxii. You are making this terribly difficult to decide because I'm loving these stories and now have no idea who I love more. Why are you doing this to me? But otherwise this was brilliant and I can't not imagine balthier being all british playboy ( kinda like luxord from kingdom hearts?) and stuff. Idk why, it just seems to fit. Im rambling again. Oh well. lessthanthree

I love this. I remember reading it before, sometime, and I can't believe I didn't review. It's simply beautiful.

I love the way you've worked this relationship believably into the events of the game, giving little glimpses of their progress along the way.

But most of all I love the fallout after Pharos. So many people only remember the mask that Balthier shows, and so precious few authors deal with the fact that he has basically just killed his own father. You take the daddy issues and you use them to change everything between Vaan and Balthier, and it is PERFECT.

Good story, I liked seeing their relationship evolve.

I enjoyed that very much. I always pictured Balthier to be a bit vague with his feelings if he ever got with Vaan. He's just not the kind of person to come out and say 'I love you.'

I haven't actually finished the game. I got stuck somewhere, I can't remember where, and then I got side-tracked by other things.

I loved the ending. Good job.

it was...pretty in it's own way. it was horribly angsty, which is good, and progressively got fluffier which is also good. so it has it's own sort of beauty. and no i haven't finished the game but spoilers are what make me want to continue playing so~... yeah. next chance i get i'm playing it w
