| NextNothingNew chapter 1 . 7/29/2008 Did I already fav you as an author? I forget. Oh well; either way, you're fav'd now. I started reading this fic, only to realize the style was similar to The Three Phases. Shocking, the same author! Not sure why it surprised me. 'That's all he would need, just a chance to wipe the grime off...' I seem to be snickering everytime Balthier laments any of the filth and dirt that covers so much (especially a sandy haired theif). The mental image of Balthier ruffling Vaan's hair? Cute. The scene with Balthier fishing for information on why Vaan is so unhappy about rooming with him? It just oozes tension the moment he asks if Vaan is attracted to him. (I also like that Vaan practically jumped away from him) "That's not an answer." "Give me a sixth day to consider a better one." The pulse point line at the end was also a favorite. |
