AW! This is so sad but so sweet! Freaking Caspian ditched Lucy! . I have never been a Lucian fan and I hardly willed myself to like SusanxCaspian but I am now a HUGE supporter of Lucian.

You never cease to amaze me, and now, I found you write in other fandoms I enjoy. I LOVED this! I loved the grownup-ness of Lucy in this story, and the way you portrayed her feelings towards Caspian. I felt as if I were there with her, sharing in her reflections and thoughts. This was really good. I'm actually in the middle of re-re-re-re-re-reading "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" which is probably by far, my favorite Narnian chronicle.

Omg! This made my heart hurt...very good, but very painful. I never could believe that Caspian just dropped Lucy like that, but that's definitely just my own personal opinion.

On a writer's note, the moments where you refer to Lucy as "the girl" tend to distance the reader from her a bit. I get what you're trying to do-i.e. emphasize that she is a girl and no longer a woman, but still, that distance is there.

Overall a really good story, but I wish it had a happier ending only for my own personal satisfaction. In terms of craft, it was great.

Love this ship-my mother can testify to my wrath when Lewis married Caspian off to Ramadu's daughter. Anyway, beautifully done, without either dihonouring the high moral standards of Narnian chacters, or making Lucy into a silly little girl. This is a beautiful oneshot! You really got at the heart of a girl who knows she is being passed over for someone else, but it too kind to hate that someone else. It's hard to write and you did it well I hope you write more Lucy/Caspian soon.
