I adore what you wrote down there. It's touching, amazing, yet heart-breaking... that's what I love about it. :) Keep it up! :D

Though Rowling never said it outright, it's easy to see that she was hinting to this idea all along in the books - that everything Petunia did was because of her sister, that she really loved her that much. Cupid, your writing is excellent. I love the first line of this, I love the last line of this, and I love everything in between as well. You really captured Petunia's emotions, and I can just see and hear and feel that little girl summoning up memories in Petunia's head, the haunting memories of her sister that she can never forget. "All because of her. And that's what hurts the worst about it." Wonderful writing. I really enjoyed this.

Now that was really sad... *Sniffles* It shows a three dimensional Petunia, not just a 2D one. It really is quite sad, you know. I'll never know how authors can write stuff like this without getting tears on their key boards, thus short- circuiting the system, thus having to go buy a new one.

I liked this. (I say that a lot about your fics, don't I?) It was a look into the mind of a remorseful Petunia remembering simpler, better, days, and a time when she and Lily had truly been innocuous sisters.

I love this so much. It's such a clear, bittersweet picture of Petunia and her views on Lily. The prose is wonderful, and the character's voice, emotions, and circumstances really shine through. It's fantastic writing.

I love this softer side, this thoughful side of Petunia...where she can actually see what she's done, and what she's done it for (nothing).

The role of the flowers was meaningful and very beautifully so.

And the laughter, I heard it...I heard it the whole time, and almost felt the same jealousy that Tuney feels. Almost. (heh, couldn't resist...what can i say, corny jokes are my thing)

Very well done. The only suggestion I would have is to change "She knows the way I viewed her..." to "She knows how I viewed her..." I flows better, I think.

I'm sorry for this review, 'cause I am really, really bad at Englisch, especially when it comes to grammar and different phrases. But I have an excuse, I'm from Austria(no, not Australia, 'cause then my english wouldn't be a problem) and the grammar of german is very different as are the phrases, and although I've had english for five years now, I don't think I am is any better at it than I was at the end of my second year.

So, I must focus on the reason of my review. I really liked your story. Because I think it's quite a mystery what Petunia thinks of her sister and so I think you did a very good job with this one. Thank you for that, and I'm really sorry for my english, but hey, now you've finished the tortur.
