Have I mentioned lately how much I love this story? No? I am sorely in remiss! Rodney is so delightfully awkward yet sweet in his own way. He just makes me smile! I read this whenever I'm feeling nervous about college. I often wonder just what I'm doing in the physics program, and reading about other awkward nerdy people is so relaxing. Thank you for writing my favorite bit of fluff.

I almost passed this up. I'm so glad I didn't. The outside perspective just works.

I haven't read this story before, but now that I have, I'm sorry I didn't review it sooner. It's great, it's totally in character for McKay and really, it wouldn't surprise me if he'd annoyed-yet-helped plenty of people before he ever came to Atlantis. Granted, there are some "fans" who think he was a complete jerk before Atlantis but really, we can't base that on one episode, especially one with an attractive blonde as smart as him- that drives him insane and really messes up his behavior. So, I'm going to take a guess based on what we've seen of Rodney otherwise, and say that he's always had a heart of gold beneath the reinforced shell of titanium that he uses to keep people at a distance.

Anyway, I'm rambling. But it's a great story. Now I have to go read your other one. I'll be sure and drop a review for it too.

That was excellent. I really liked it a lot and the characterization for Rodney was spot on, and the way you've interperated the neighbor was great too. Off to read the sequel now :D

how sweet! Rodney was delightfully written (I could just hear him lecturing in my head), the backstory was very nice, style is wonderful, and grammer is also great. Excellent little story. Keep writing!
