Amazing story! I really enjoyed it! I'm glad they worked things out!

You described his physical movements at the crime scenes so vividly. Alex was so fair in her criticisms of him, but seemed to sense what a good person he was (the scene of Goren with the little girl made him seem like superman). I loved that they needed to teach each other and both had to give and take. They have complimentary skills alright.

Era estranho como Bobby agia com Alex no início,ela teve dias de Lynn Bishop, não? E gostei das explicações sobre o porque de apenas Alex dirigir ( só ví Bobby dirigir duas vezes no show,no dia do enterro de Kevin Queen, parceiro do marido falecido de Eames e em Purgatório ) e a famigerada carta ( Eames sempre chama Bobby de burro, mas aqui a burra foi ela). A única falha, que agora sabemos, é que Alex era a parceira sênior,não Bobby. É que o cara roubou toda a atenção! Será que era essa a intenção de Dick Wolf, que o detetive junior se sobressaisse ao sênior? Afinal, outros shows sempre mostram o contrário, o sênior dando uma lição nos"novatos".

Great fic. First one I've read that has to do with the beginning of the Goren/Eames partnership. Sometimes I wished we'd gotten the beginning in the show but it works. :D

This is really a great story. I love it. The description of the developing partnership of Eames and Goren is just perfect. You set a really high bar to reach. LOL :)

The way you describe Goren’s questioning style makes it so easy to picture the situation. And Eames’ line at the end is just the icing on the cake.

Why didn’t I spot this before? This is one of my favorite themes! The start of their partnership. Great!
