| He Who Hides In Plain Sight chapter 4 . 4/17/2008 Great story! The OC, Sam, is actually a believable character, with a well fleshed-out personality, and enough history to make him seem like a part of this world without feeling like he was forced into it like a square peg into a round hole. And so far, all the characters have been In Character, which is something that's tough to do, no matter the fandom. The only suggestion I have to make for the story's improvement is... A vigilante name for Sam! With what just happened, I really don't think he should be doing patrols in his civvies. For a name, I suggest either keeping with his dark clothing style, getting him a mask, coloring his chain black, and calling him 'Chain Shadow'; or, you could get him a blue motif for his clothing, a ski-style mask, a large dragon stitched on the front of his shirt, give him another weapon to go with his chain, and call him the 'Blue Dragon'. He's realistic & completely believeable, so unlike most OC's written on this site. The turtles are also very characteristic & similar to their real-selves. I really hope you are going to continue on with this story some time because it is definitely one of the best OC stories I have ever read. Please update real soon! |
