12 years later, I still love this series.

recognizes the greater-than symbol? I was under the impression that -both- symbols didn't show up. I'll have to find some other way to show telepathy in my fic. Any recommendations?

In an actual review: great story! I got here from the page of another author who wrote human-to-xeno stories (those are awesome!)

I need to tell you that I love the way you wrote the Hades series. I've read them all and didn't know which one to review, but your style is excellent. Your OCs are great, your plot is as well, I love it. You can be proud!

I must say, it did took me by surprise, especially on the story development. Shadow's debut was the least expected;same goes for his background story. Throughout the whole progress, I found myself liking Shadow, and up to a point, Spiketail (she still sounds mean at times).Even Jake and Hukken, as minor as they seem, are quite memorable.

For the story, it has all the right developments at the right points with good characters as a base to make it a thrilling interesting read. And the cliffhanger at the last chapter made sure I'm glued to the next part :P

Seems like the attention is shifting more towards the xeno duo, so I guess I'll see more of them in Part II :)

Some of the scene in the story, mostly the transformation, is almost like my plotline, difference in the styles and the depth of it, of course! :D

Ah...I do hope the special hive will survive through the space crisis, right? :D

I like the story (im on chapter 3) But y would tom have the fingerprints to open the crate?

Ah well. I have only seen Alien v.s Predator, not Alien.

All in all it's an exciting story, but at you got near the final chapter it seemed so rushed, particulary the Cythera. It's hard to imagine the situation...how many people and drones are still alive, how are they responding to all that's happening to them, how to picture the general when there is little to no description on how anything looks?

What I really like is the character development of both Shadow and Spiketail, they both have their issues without tummeling into over-angst.

The general plot is very original too, both in having humans corporate with xenomorph as well as this strange planet.

As requested, feedback on the yautja : Yautja females are not ruled out from hunting due to their massive size. Males hunt for honor so that they may mate with females, hence females have no reason to hunt; if they do hunt it's for the thrill of it, they can do what they want since they are the dominant gender.

Second, xenomorph can always see through the cloaking device since they have access to echo location and an incredibly acurate sense of smell.

Third, you said it was the two yautja's first hunt, but you also say they are not blooded. Yautja are not allowed to go on hunts unless they passed the kainde amedha chiva and are blooded in accordance, in fact, they're not allowed to kill anything sapient before they receive that mark.

On the Praetorians having six limbs, that would mean they're already transforming into queens, which would make them competition to the queen and hence get them executed.

Another nitpick : Kail's rapid transformation, where did she get the mass from, especially considering humans are carbon-based creatures of 7 pH and xenomorph silicon-based creatures of far below 0 pH? Also, no creatures mind could be preserved during such a transformation due to the nature of neurotransmitters.

Nitpicks aside. I really like this story, I have a thing for sapient xenomorph and this is lovely approach. I'm curious where you'll take the interaction between the humans and the xenomorph.

I know it's probably been a while since you finished this story, but I have just now gotten a chance to read it through in it's entirety. I do like the interesting changes that seem to continue to occur in the story. Also, I think that the dialogue is done very well, it definitely feels very real, and accurate as well. I look forward to the next installment or story.

Indeed, this story has filled me with suspense, awe and excitement. I look forward to the next two installments.

I shall be reading this with extreme interest. It's not everyday you find an AVP story that doesn't have to do with the movie and sticks to the original Quadrilogy.

Whoa interesting ending... and it took me this long to get to it... bloodyhell next time exams can take themselves and the house can paint itself... X-mas wasn't bad either ;)... wil be looking out for the next book...probobly alredy out so i'll go look for it after New Years... Happy New Years. :)
