It's funny. Naraku thinks of Kikyou. Tainted affection. Twisted but nice.

Naraku's obsessed with her and you seem to be symbolising Kikyou as death and her ashes, Naraku breathing Kikyou's ashes in.

Obsession. An obsession with death and ashes. Brilliant. Naraku is twisted at heart.

Is this going to continue? I could see it going either way. Good imagery and well thought out. Very good at just skimming the emotion, keeps it open.

Something I've always wondered - why didn't Naraku swoop down and snatch up the jewel the minute Kikyo chose to die? Why did he allow it to be burned with her body? Eh, maybe he was just too busy battling Onigumo's grief over her death. *shrugs*

Anyway, this piece is remarkable. I love the imagery of him breathing her in, how she's gone and yet lingers, almost smothering him. And the title is perfect, of course. Nicely done.

Tsk. Poor Naraku, he tries and tries, but he still can't get his hands on the shikon jewel. I really do admire his persistance.

Beautiful. It had a sort of texture to it, the wreiting I mean, which was soot. It was really neat in that way.
