i think you are glossing over what spike took from superboy to much. can he or can he not change alan? getting fit is beyond easy with klyntar, training breaks the body and the symbiond can fix this. you can keep going all day long with little to no set back. this is also rather overlooked

anyone else that thinks batman acts like a self-rightious ass. he dumps a new untested team without a leader in a mission and expects them to figure it out. they gave connor no health check nor a psychic check despite being a clone with implanted memories by cadmus.

acting so subserviant to bats is just ennoying and unreasonable

I really enjoy this story, though I do think the reprogramming of Amazo is a bit too simple. I get the concept of spite having access to knowledge of much more complex systems from alien civilizations I simply hope it doesn’t become a normal thing. I mean at this point they won’t even need that one doctor they protect at the school from the mission from speedy since Spite should be able to do the reprogramming himself. It just kind of becomes to easy. Just something to mention as you may want to make it so he can only reprogram by touch like he did here. Maybe that’s your plan and if so great just specify it so people don’t freak out when a situation comes up and he “suddenly” can’t reprogram a device and people claim he’s being “nerfed”. That’s just my opinion though not a demon or anything. Thanks for another awesome chapter.

One thing, you need to fix the inconsistencies in your story. They probably come from writing over a longer period of time, but for someone like me who just started reading this story, it's obvious.

Under lasso, Alan admitted to being 23, nearly 24, but when told he's the old man out of the group by Robin and/or Kid Flash, he mutters that he's only 21.

Spite revealed that Alan is his fifth host (or possibly that he has had 5 before Alan). Here he says he has had 7 in his several thousand years of existance.

It's a pretty interesting story, where I hope a lot more changes come through in time (though more along the line of complete divergence and addition rather than rehashing the same stories the TV show did, just with Spite being around to point out the retrospective errors ahead of time and it somehow being part of a plan.).

Wait I’m fairly certain the Klyntar take the superpowers of their previous hosts to improve future hosts or at least give them that power, has spites ‘memory/data store’ of previous hosts been destroyed so he doesn’t have the information but can gain it again like from superboy here or are you retconning the ability that makes them so strong and cool?

Wait alcohol? What 23 year old allows others to regulate their alcohol consumption understandable to be wary of drugs and weapons but he should understand he’s an adult who is mature enough to make his own decisions? Too passive also where in comics or cartoon does it ever state that the lasso shows one their true self, I’m not trying to be an ass about this I genuinely don’t think that’s a function. Sorry if this sounds too attacking I actually enjoy you’re work and I like to understand the reasons behind decisions if they’re logical.

There's a lot of Young Justice fanfics out there, and in every one I keep wanting to see the same thing and it has yet to come up. After Superman's asshole act, the next time he's out of System, someone take Connor to meet his grandparents, please. The Kents wouldn't care he was a clone, they'd accept him as he is immediately, and Ma Kent would browbeat that boy of hers into treating his kid right the second he got back to Earth.

Black Canary being able to leg sweep Connor makes as much sense as her sweeping a full grown Red Wood tree.
