So, I started reading the first chapter again, thinking I'd just accidentally deleted the alert for it, but as I was reading it, I remembered what it was. XD But I'm gonna leave in the observation I'd made about Wu while rereading the first chapter, anyway. :P

I'll probably be rewatching the later seasons again soon, but I really don't recall how it works that Garmadon can be an Oni while Wu isn't, when they share at least one parent. Are they actually half brothers or something? How many other illegitimate kids of the First Spinjitzu Master are out there? Is one of them a Serpentine? Or a Djinn? I mean, seems like the guy got around. XD

Well, now I'm just picturing a video of Faith getting on Ninjago's version of YouTube where it's just her hobbling down the monastery stairs, looking for all the world like she's blackout drunk. People either think it's hilarious or can't watch when she comes close to falling over the edge. XD

It's very interesting to see Ninjago through Faith's eyes.
I especially liked the shower scene and its outcome. :-P Things like that make one realize that ordinary everyday things and concepts we take for granted can be totally strange and foreign to others. Boy, now I totally want to have a sandbath myself! Hmm ... now that the playgrounds are closed, there are no kids in the sandbox, so maybe ... ;-P
I also liked that Faith respected Misako for having a strong will. :-)

Oh dear, not more than 15 stars in the First Realm? Not much to do for astronomers, I guess ... ;-P Seriously, though, I loved that bit, as it highlights a major difference between the First Realm and Ninjago (and in fact the world as we know it). It would be a strange coincidence if all realms resembled Earth too closely, so yeah, a realm where stars are pretty scarce and do unexpected things is very original. :-)

Very good job on describing the atmosphere and how Faith's perception is altered by pain and healing potion. :-)

"Making the Oni pay /ten/ times over" sounds like the beginning of a positive feedback loop which usually has very negative effects. :-( But yeah, it is in character for Faith to say something like that. What I find very uplifting, however, is the fact that Firstbourne and Faith have become such good friends - after having been enemies for so long, probably also intent on making the respective other group "pay tens times over". And now they're both willing to risk their own health for the sake of looking after the other one. That's just amazing. So yeah, in this case, the positive feedback loop was checked in time by a negative feedback loop, which in turn led to very positive results. ;-)

And really, the character list doesn't have Firstbourne?! I join you in being chapped!

I loved this! The relationship you've written between Faith and Firstbourne is great! Who knew they'd have such a great dynamic? :p I would enjoy seeing a continuation of this, or that other filler/fluff you mentioned. c: Also Firstbourne isn't included in the character tags? Utter blasphemy.

Oh, I love this! Please continue! There are barely any good fanfics out there with my girl Faith. She is such an underrated and under appreciated character. Thank for giving her the appreciation she deserves and for portraying her so accurately.

This was sweet and surprisingly, bitterly cold. The warmth is there but there’s also that quiet chill creeping under that makes it the perfect hurt/comfort brew.

Faith being absolutely appalled that the ninja don’t guard and lock their monastery is amazing if only because the context is that six highly trained assassins sleep (and probably get regular nightmares) there. And her coming close to crying at the very end when Firstborne lands okay, even after the aired speech and regrets and promises of vengeance, it’s just so... poignant. -chef’s kiss- (in a way, Wu’s tea does deserve to be dunked on :P)

Wu and Misako’s tenderness for each other is such a freezer-burn, to be honest. It’s so full of that honest, caring affection that never crosses a carefully drawn line. I feel like there’s always some unspoken regret in their interactions and it just kills because they never acknowledge it, noooooo old people with too much going on in their heads are gonna keep their mouths shut in each other’s presence apparently. C’est la vie.

Dragon queens are the best.
