Wonderful! Owen and Beru don’t get enough love in the fandom, I think, but they raised a pretty great kid. Practical advice for survival in a harsh world, plus giving a scared kid a sense of power... great parenting there! Reminds me of that quote about how fairy tales don’t teach kids that dragons exist, but that dragons can be beaten! (neil gaiman, maybe?)

Awww, this was sweet. I really like the relationship Luke has with his aunt and uncle. It's like Beru is the education professional, and Owen tries and he means well and sometimes he manages to get something really well done. Like here, that was sweet. And a little bit gruesome, with the rat and all haha. I like the Look, I can totally imagine it. And the writing style was easy and amusing, well done!

This fits in very nicely. Owen's approach is very no-nonsense, just like Owen, but he obviously cares. I like it.

This was brilliant. I love that it was Beru who tried to make Luke feel better at first but then it was Owen being brutally honest that helped him in the end.

Cute, well done Uncle Owen! Young Luke can learn a lot from his Tatooine background: not only the killing Rancor tips, but the "you had to decide to not be angry..." gem of wisdow would also help him later. Perfect story, again!
