At first I was like "tom shard/volde-splinter is taking notice" but then I remembered that og scathach had already killed it/him, so why he feels the need to take notice is still weird. Still, great job. I really like this story thus far. I'm a little impatient to learn who classifies as a worthy mate and as such the pairing, but then I thought that meant no one in her world fits that criteria, soooo. One critique I have is the lack of zelretch (I think that's how his name is spelled) trolling. Hope he pops in to mess with people, even if it's going to james and poking at him with how a "vampire" ( the magicals won't care about the difference, much) is a better father. Now if only there was a kudos button. Damn
