This work was a journey from start to finish. As much asI love most of the other stories this site can offer within WvA, I think This is probably the best. The writing, consistent to the show but with your own more mature twist to it, is just mesmerising. The ending was one of the best I've ever read, everything felt complete, resolved and personally puts my heart in place as a fan since we'll probably never have more series in the future that will resolve the Lexi story arc and the Nekross species dying, and even if they did, I feel like they couldn't do better. I love the idea of Lexi finding a way to save both her species and wizardkind using science and her own genetic code to find the solution, and her and varg's dialogue was just so realistic. Usually I'm not a fan of OC's of any kind because they're often not written well- but Theresa is so tridimensional, the opposite of a plot device, a real character that has a credible backstory, relatable feelings and that grows throughout the story. I'm honestly speechless. Everything was well paced and don't have anything but compliments for this story. Bravo. I am just completely blown away by this story. Not only have you answered so many of the questions that unconsciously came to mind whilst I watched this series, but you have brought it to a fitting closure - one I wish they could have done for the actual programme.

Lexi’s mother was executed by the King? I've always wondered about that plot hole and now, much like your idea about the Nekross' evolution, you've filled it in perfectly!

After reading this chapter, all I can say is it must have taken a great deal of pondering to come up with such a fabulous twist in the tale.

I know the monologue on the Nekross Benny gave wasn’t canon, but it should be! That sounds exactly like what must have caused the Nekross to turn out the way they are now.

That scene with the Harry Potter references made me laugh out loud! It was so typical of what would happen if wizard magic really was revealed to the world. As for that video about whether Varg was Voldemort... XD

At the beginning of this chapter I honestly thought Major Sun was in UNIT and the Brigadier was, well, the Brigadier!

This is a truly perfect ending to an amazing storyline! I love how you effectively solved the problem of Nekross hunger which drives their society and then wrapped up how Tom and Lexi can live together as a family again - it all works out perfectly. There was so many loose ends in the actual show, which this solves - I really enjoyed it!

Every once in awhile I look to see if anything new exists for WvA and OMG. How did you manage to write this? I'm in awe really. This is gorgeous, and beyond anything that could have happened in canon, but we all know how canon turned out so it's not exactly shocking to find better things lol. Also damn you, I'm leaking water. I am so in love with heartbreaking story. It's so very well written, the plot magnificently crafted, and I want more of it. I really hope you finish this. I'd kill for it honestly. The detail, your OC... I'm at a loss for what all to say really. Except that I need more Tom and Lexi interaction. NEED. Thank you for sharing this work, cheers!

I really like this fic, I'm pretty sure that reading it the writers of the show would feel embarassed on how poorly they continued the show throwing away all the plot lines they built and that you, by writing this fic, recovered and used in the correct way, finally making sense out of it all. Loved how you brought up the darker, more mature side of the show and developed it but still putting here and there the humoristic side that characterises the show, balancing it out. The charachterisation is on point, it feels like an episode right out of the show, dare I say better? ( surely better than season three..) I really hope you will update this, in my opinion it'd be worth it.

Really glad you're still continuing this - I love Tom's monologue and how he talks about war and how it truly affects the Nekross, really thought-provoking stuff! He still cares so much about Lexi as well, as does Varg. Great job!
