You have the wonderful ability to make me feel everything, the exhaustion, the warmth between them the love they have for each other and now hope. Shepard wasn't the only one with weepy eyes by the way.

The image of her sitting between his legs, relaxing against him, that soft kiss and the shivers it arouses were vividly clear, the very real love so obvious. The idea that he remembered something from their past and cared enough to show her was so beautiful - tearing up again just thinking about it. You write these two so well, I'm in the room with them, feeling all that they feel and it's amazing.

Hope is a powerful thing, as was his gift. It's never about the thing, it's the fact that something mentioned once was important enough to stick. That something important to her registered because she's important to him. In the end, that really is what gets the relationship through. And it'll be what gets Shepard through the war. That and the fact that she has a safe place to break a little when she needs to. :D A lovely story about a lovely moment of tenderness and hope.

This was a sweet moment between Sloan and Kaiden. It sets the tone for why Sloan is trusting of Kaiden and her explanation to Garrus in your other piece. It is also sweet because that is what the romance thing is about. It is about paying attention to the person you are dedicating your time and energy to and showing them that everything they are matters. You did a nice job with this. Thanks for the fluff.
