This is really well written, but it just makes me dislike TFA more than I already do. Mind you, I really like Poe, Rey and Finn. I just really hate what happened to Han and Leia.

This is the type of fic featuring Poe and Leia that I like. A mother-son type fic, rather than romance. (Granted, I haven't really come across any Poe/Leia romance fics.) I hope I never do. And I really hope Poe and Leia don't become romantically involved in Episode VIII (As much as I'm excited for the movie, that's my biggest fear regarding it.) A Poe and Leia romance would not make sense for a number of reasons. Because like you pointed out here, Leia is old enough to be Poe's mother. And also, it's too soon after Han's death for Leia to be in another relationship. Plus, even if she does find love again, regardless of who it's with, it will never be as epic as the romance she had with Han. (I've shipped Han and Leia since I was maybe 11 or 12 years old. I vowed never to ship either Han or Leia with any other characters. And even after everything that happened in The Force Awakens, I will keep that promise for the rest of my life.) Anyway, I really liked this. Great job!

Omg this is so true. Leia must be heartbroken by all the ways poe is like ben. Why are there no other stories about this? This is amazing!

Wow this is amazing! I had my doubts at first; the description did not entirely convince me that it wasn't some weird Leia/Poe fic, but boy am I glad I tried it. YOU'VE BROKEN MY HEART! I LOVE IT!

Your writing is fantastic. Not many people can pull a fic like this off, but this is precious! Your writing is very clear, and every word counts. Your transitions are short and smooth. I love the way you began with Poe's alluring characteristics, his many lovers, and the pain they felt when he broke their heart, then you moved to Leia. She sees his character, she wishes it was Ben's. She relives Ben's fall and her heart is broken again. Just like the lovesick admirers, she wishes she could take a break. It's like a little mirror!

I adore this perspective. You've put both characters in a different light, but it fits them exactly, and it kind of makes me want to cry. I, too, am a sucker for family fics. I can't imagine anyone not loving this stuff, but I suppose the world is full of weirdos. ;)

I've seen the concept where Leia looks on Poe as a sort-of-son, and I like what you did with that here. I could see the comparisons between Poe and Kylo Ren, and how Leia wished her son had all of Poe's traits. This is a powerful story. I'm glad I found it. :)

Your title could serve as a warning, you know. Poor, poor Leia... I loved how you begin on Poe's love life then go on something totally different. And I loved his character study, all his ways of being. And then Leia's feelings... :( He's similar to so many people she cares for, and has lost: Ben, he's got similar looks and age, Han, what with his roguish ways, and even Luke, being the Reb- errr, the Resistance's star pilot. Congratulations, you've broken my heart. *Sighs*

Very nicely done. I can easily see Leia feeling this way for Poe. He really is the dashing character in the movie... I can't wait to see more of him in Episode 8.
