I lost it at - "serious business voice Squall and husky bedroom voice Squall?" Sooo funny because it's true.

This was just really great. I honestly can't believe I read a good story that centered around pants. That's some amazing writing talent you got :P.

I'll be honest, I'm imaging these pants as SeeD-issue maternity pants. Like, Xu does not care if you're knocked up, wear these and get your butt out there and make us some money.

Ahem.

So much of what I read and write, and my own headcanon, is so focused on the succession, that I always appreciate your ability to maintain the humor and awkwardness they both show in the game-particularly where Rinoa is concerned. Her inner monologue runs non-stop which is really is so very her, and those moments Squall picks up on it and she gets kind of embarrassed but he just doesn't care really are so fluffy and cute. Particularly when that fluffiness comes from a topic as utterly nonsensical as retractable pants.

And then as for the end...we ARE going to see dialogue along those lines in FSR right? RIGHT? Because we better!

Okay, so I get the impression that Squall may have subtly arranged for the demise of the pants by switching his with Xu's? Or at least, not saying anything when he realized, knowing that Xu would give Cid hell over the impracticality of ill fitting pants. Either way, that's wickedly passive aggressive. And in character-Squall taking action through inaction.

And also, being pantsed by your own pants is hilarious to me.

Not only was that unbelievably adorable, I feel like you have one of the best Squall's ever. I'm actually rereading Reinventing Me and I love seeing the growth you have as an author and as a person.

Overall, I loved it. It made me smile which is always a lovely feeling while reading fanfics.

This is adorable. I love how these two interact here...Squall's dry sense of humor, Rinoa's amusement over the subject. Nice to see something light, fluffy and cute. Totally guilty of the opposite here, but it's always nice to see fun, fluffy goodness. Well done!

That was really cute! I really liked it and I especially liked the conversation about consent! :) In all seriousness, though, this was very well-written and funny, with just enough fluff to be a really cute story.

This was such a wonderful peek into a normal day post-game. Normal for a SeeD anyway, which apparently consists of trying to figure out new standard-issue uniform pants. After all, it's a legitimate concern!

This was also a nice change of pace for what I'm sure will be a large influx of angst-riddled stories. The fandom needs a bit more fluff & slice of life stuff :) and that's coming from someone who primarily writes angst hahha.

This was cute and funny. I've wondered about the SeeD uniform too. Was that just their dress uniform, or were they meant to fight in it too? It'd make sense to also have a utilitarian uniform that they could really bang around in. Whenever I play Dissidia in Squall's SeeD uniform, I'm always thinking in the back of my mind, 'don't mess up your good uniform!' Silly, I know.
