This is a good start. It has a good reason for Thorin becoming close and trusting the love interest quickly. Then having her coming to Middle Earth in such a way with witnesses should help them both with the darrow nation.
Thorin will be different when he wakes up just because of the anticipation of seeing her again. What will his family & people think when he wakes up and says Mahal told him he is making his chosen "one" a body. And that she gave up her entire world to be with him. Who is going with Thorin to the east?

Re-reading this for the 3rd time and caught something I didn't notice before

"..his 'maleness' wasn't conforming to her idea"? Hmmm wonder what that means, Is he bigger or thicker than she expected? Or simply more hairy ;)

Hang on ... How did they go from sleeping/Dreaming in Grimauld Place to Now? And where exactly is now? Are they both in Middle Earth?

"Come to the East..." Wonder if Mahal meant to go to Grey Heavens where the elven ships travel between Valinor and Middle Earth. Be amusing, there's been ..what 6?...travelers from Valinor to Middle Earth -the 5 Istari and Glorfindel(well that is if we go with the idea Glorfindel of Rivenedell is same as Glorfindel of Gondolin as Tolkein seemed to aim at) so IF Lucy did travel to Grey Heavens be funny in a way... someone coming from Valinor but NOT to meet the elves, instead she's wants to meet the Darrow... one in particular.

"A body must be made..." makes me wonder if Lucy's original body would be dead in Grimmauld. IF its only her soul that travels between worlds. IF so, what of her magic , her most precious belongings, what of the Deathly Hallows?

I love it! At last, a good femHarry/Thorin fanfiction. You've got an original plot, a good writing style - not too mushy or unrealistic - and good grammar. I just hope to see the sequel soon.

Love this! Such potential for the plot and I absolutely love the understanding between Lucy and Thorin. I wonder how his family will react to how he's changed and where Lucy will end up and whether she'll be entirely herself or changed somehow. Mostly I've enjoyed Lucy and Thorin finding such peace and comfort in each other. Lovely! I hope you update again soon. :)
