This story shared a lot of the feelings Sarada held bottled up. The little things shared made a big difference and the result of was something better for not only Sarada but for Sasuke too. It was nice to see he could make their relationship better before he left and that the learning experience might be the example he can use to be a different father to his yet to be born second child.

Encompassing Sakura's strength and love that grounds their family was also a nice touch.

I tend to view their family in the same light so it was great to see another author's spin on things.
