Never liked Sally much, but this was really good, made me like her a bit more!

I like seeing Sally do a bit of matchmaking in the hospital room! Nice touch!

Mary...oh she has been bad, hasn't she? I honestly despised her during that scene in the canon when she tells Sherlock to not tell John.

Another thing...since this takes place after the drug den incident, Mary and John are married at this point. Therefore, this quote does not make sense: "Sally interjected, 'Was John's fiancée there?'"

I stumbled over this story by accident and it is absolutely amazing. It is so rare that I find a realistic portrayal of Sally Donovan, instead of making her the villain. Let's face it, her reaction was very authentic, and she was just doing her job.

I am looking forward to the rest eagerly.
