Let me just say, this is the first story of yours I've read and I very much enjoyed it. (I look forward to reading the rest in the hopefully near future.) You have a knack for the brutally realistic sort of romantic story that's worth the tears it makes me shed. It's obvious you put a lot of effort into the names, the historical accuracy, the detail...and making chapter five agonizing. I was fond of Quintus and his fellow gladiators, but I absolutely loathed Cassius. You did an excellent job of making him an abhorrent character. I also, however, quite liked Demetrius. He was sweet and kind and I loved how you wrapped things up with him. I love happy endings and the way you gave everyone theirs made me delightful feels.

That was absolutely spectacular. The writing was elaborate but not excessive. Plot was entrancing and kept me reading. The first couple chapters required me to pull in some of my Ancient Rome knowledge, but the way everything was tied together. The way it just, fit. This story was one of the best I've ever read. And I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good piece of writing.

This was a beautiful story that came together into an awe inspiring work of art. I could find no fault with the story other than a few grammatical errors that slipped by. I laughed as I found out the horse was named impala :). I also like to think that Cas and Dean next future lives will be as an angel and a hunter, and that their love will continue, making this not an au(which I do not tend to like) but just the past lives of these two beautiful souls. Thank you for what you have done, for writing this without anything in return but our humble thanks.

Awww. I'm sorry it took me so long to read this. But... This was an amazing end to the story. I'm glad you gave Demetrius his true love and that they're happy. Because in that world, Cassius didn't belong to Quintus. :)

This is a very interesting story. I'm loving it. I began reading this one just 3 days ago. Now i'm stuck on it. English is not my native language but i couldn't let you without a review. Thanks for the story. You mixed the characters in such a way that make us trying to find out who is who. That's the amazing thing, i think. Congratulations.

Love this ending! It ties everything together very well. It took me a while to make sense of the whole, "Quintus basically got to die and live forever with Demetrius but also be reborn as a different, separate person later" thing, but once I got it, I loved it. :)
