Penny Watson Lafayette chapter 1 . 9/17/2019 This was so imaginative! Loved the way you managed to weave aspects of real life (John and Sherlock's friendship, as an example) into Sherlock's hallucination. Please keep writing Sherlock fics :) |
EiswolfZero chapter 1 . 11/7/2016 Oh my, this was so cute and funny. Mycroft did literaly nothing than talk and still it was enough for John to work hahaha |
Guest chapter 1 . 9/15/2015 awesome just awesome. its great to see snipits of sherlocks childhood and this fanfic was really entertaining. great job :) |
Linguam chapter 1 . 6/30/2014 This was ridiculous (and I mean that in a good, funny way). Normally I don't enjoy this kind of fic but reading this one, I just couldn't stop laughing. Good job, it was really entertaining! /Linguam |
Rachelea chapter 1 . 2/12/2014 Your characterization is hilarious (and somehow still in character) and your phrasing flawless. Magnificent writing :) I should not be laughing so hard this late at night. Loved The Jumper too, by the way. These oneshots are great, I'd love to see you do a longer story. |
User is no longer available chapter 1 . 1/27/2014 it would be more hilarious if sherlock got better the next day and teased Mycroft about his captain bubbles thing...:) |
ilovemyboys chapter 1 . 1/25/2014 Very nice! I love the brotherly bonds and friendship bonds in this! |
The Jumble Book chapter 1 . 1/22/2014 Very well written and great character in put on all three characters! Really enjoyed the storyline, made me smile. |
Heather Snow chapter 1 . 1/21/2014 Very nice. I loved how it took John a while to catch on that something was going on with Sherlock. I loved the interaction with Captain Bubbles. I loved how you portrayed each of the characters. I hope you'll write more Sherlock stories. |
Blenderx chapter 1 . 1/21/2014 Good characterization! I was disappointed to see you haven't written more in the Sherlock fandom. Hope that changes soon. :) |
SupernaturalGeek chapter 1 . 1/21/2014 That was very funny yet also very sweet, all whilst everyone remained completely in character. Trust Sherlock to react to flu in a rather unique fashion! John's previous experiences with him in an altered state - and the fact it took him a while to realise that's what had happened and Sherlock wasn't just being 'Sherlock' - were very entertaining too as was Mycroft deigning to indulge his little brother until he was almost in his right mind again. You did a brilliant job with John's voice but more importantly you really captured the complex brotherly relationship between Mycroft and Sherlock. I agree wholeheartedly with John's conclusions about their behaviour and it was really rather touching that Mycroft left his beloved umbrella to comfort Sherlock until he is back to normal, again while still keeping true to the character. I really enjoyed this. |
BrightWatcher chapter 1 . 1/20/2014 Ahhh oh my gosh this was delightful. Good luck with your writer's muse! |
citylily chapter 1 . 1/20/2014 This was a really amusing, cute and sweet one shot. Love the insight into the Holmes' brothers (both individually and in their relationship). Hope you are inspired to do more Sherlock stories! Regardless, thank you for the Captain Bubbles bit and the whole pirate vs. privateer discussion- those will continue to make me giggle. :) |
amanda chapter 1 . 1/20/2014 That was very touching. I love fics that explore the dynamics between Sherlock and Mycroft, and you navigated those waters nicely without tipping into saccharine. Well done. |
Dianne chapter 1 . 1/20/2014 This was a lovely story. Mycroft's way of showing affection was just perfect and it still kept him in character. I loved the humour, especially with John being called the first mate by Captain Bubbles. Your wit in writing this piece really showed through in your use of Mycroft's subtle mention in one episode that Sherlock always wanted to be a pirate. Thanks for sharing this story, I truly enjoyed it. |
