My English teacher also had us rewrite a scene to change the tone and mood. I rewrote Simon's death so that he didn't die and instead the scene is super fluffy and everyone is happy. I do caution you, there are extremely FLUFFY things ahead. FLUFF!

My English teacher last year had us do some sort creative interpretation after we read Lord of the Flies. I chose to write a new scene. I wanted proof that they were civilized and it felt right for Simon to have a funeral. K for safety reasons (implied character death and sadness).

This story starts right before Ralph gets onto the beach whilst he is running from the savage boys at the end of the book. The Naval Officer does not save him. He is not even there. This is what i think should have happened, and then a little twist, just 'cause i can. I know that i'm horrible at summaries, just read it. Welp, this rocks. Another deserted island in the middle of...where are we anyway? Hey, Roger, stop trying to eat things. No, that cobra isn't edible. Neither is the TV host. And Ralph, the conch isn't actually...oh, never mind. Simon's swooning again. Maurice is taking over the camera. Bill's vanishing mysteriously. Jack's trying to kill and/or make out with Ralph. Fun times, ahoy.

Ralph is yet again thrown onto a plane just to have it crash land on yet another island. With Jack, Roger, Samneric, and all the other original children plus some very new faces will they survive, or become savage like before? Rated: T for harsh language.

What if there was no boat to take the boys off of the island? What would become of Ralph, Jack, and other boys? My interpretation of what events would take place if both of those things applied. The story is way better than my summary makes it out to be. Also this is my first story on this site, so please read and review. WARNING: major and minor character deaths!

It was the last straw, and he knew it. Sure, Roger had the tendency of being a little on the aggressive side, but he didn't actually think that Maurice would walk out on him the way he did. Now Roger doesn't know what way to turn, if there was one left at all, and it would take of his strength to get them back together again, if that was possible. Rogice. Rated T (for later).
