Hayate and Freyja, accompanied by Keith, enter the Star Sanctum to save the Star Singer. But instead of Hayate and Freyja escaping, the blast wave of the Sanctum being destroyed, mixed with the intense waves left behind by the Star Singer sends them through a dimensional wormhole. (Adopted from SwordOfTheGods) Hiro and Zero Two escaped from the Garden for longer than a day before being recaptured, but that little extra time led to a difference that changed everything. If one child could change, could more? Doctor Franxx needed to know.
