Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter. Why hello there! I'm Harriet and I'm British! I have American cousins who live just outside New York, and whenever I go over they take me places and say things like "Look! She's British! Harriet say something." So I'd have to come up with something to say, so I gave up and just asked everyone 'Do you like cheese?' in my British accent. They thought I was weird. I was a bit. I live near London, apart from when we're at the Scottish house which is near Edinburgh. There are sheep in the field behind our paddock in Scotland. There is an amazing view from the kitchen window of the hills and mountains which are red rock. We live near a park in England and in Summer it's fun playing in the park then walking two minutes home for a barbeque. I prefer rain to sun, snow to sand, clouds to clear sky and stars to the moon. I'm strange like that but it leads to an interesting life. I have blue/grey/a liddly bit green eyes. Swear on my life they keep changing. I have dark brown hair, the hair dye is so confuddling, every time I wash my hair it gets lighter/changes colour a bit, so I'm not entirely sure when it'll become completely natural again. Normally it's browny reddish. I have lots of hair, it's very thick, but when it's nice it's very very nice! I don't really know how tall I am. Probably about 1m70cm. I have nooo clue in feet and inches. I am well built/curvy and I have reading glasses (pink and green! Monster rave!) and the orthodontist doesn't think I need braces. That's me in a nutshell, or at least at the moment khakis, coral t-shirt and my county hockey hoodie. You might have seen by now I'm as mad as a hatter, and I was in fact called Hattie for a while at my old school but it never stuck. I'm a Harri and always will be! I could talk for Britain, I love making jokes, I laugh a lot and a lot and a lot and I love making people happy, I even made up a sunshine song once and my friends said it was about me because I'm always making them laugh at my rubbish jokes- they're so unfunny it's funny! Or so I've been told. If I were a Harry Potter character, I did a funny test thing on the internet, it said I would be Harry, which is rather ironic, as I am Harri, just a girl, and the name is spelt differently, but hey, you get what I'm saying. Anyhu, if I were to describe myself, I would say I was a mix of pretty much all of them, I'm loyal and brave like Harry, always willing to risk everything for friends, I'm quick tempered like Ron, though unlike Ron I'm learning to control it. I do homework and I can retain information, for a while, so I'm always helping others and letting them copy my work like Hermione. I'm always making a prat of myself like Seamus, making people laugh etc, I get a bit nervous and stuttery like Neville, it may not seem like it but hey, I can hide it slightly better than him. I'm a liddly bit sneaky and sly like Draco Malfoy, just not as sharp a tongue, and I'm nice sneaky rather than cruel sneaky. I love being loud and boisterous like Sirius, although on the contrary I do love sitting quietly with a cup of tea reading like Remus. I'm stubborn like Lily, yet persistent like James, and boy when I get crushes do I do stupid things like Ginny. Soooo embarassing. I'm motherly like Molly; I went to Italy on a school trip and got stuck in a room with the rebels, I must say I went a bit 'perfect prefect' like Percy/Remus, but I did stop us from getting into trouble quite a few times! After the trip my friend told me she didn't miss her mum once because she was sharing a room with me. I'm inquisitive like Artur, mad like Moody, just not quite as mad, and knowing like Dumbledore in my wise old ways. Finally my brother and I have this bond where we can understand what the other is saying even if no one else does. Our parents have yet to figure out our 'different language' as they call it, it is English, it's just we talk quickly, refer to films, quote, act out scenes and all that jazz, so no one has a clue what we're nattering on about. Although there's two years between us we're a bit like Fred and George I suppose. My pen name is Teirrah (Harriet backwards) and I'm trying to write my own book and get it published hopefully and I'm thinking of using Teirrah as a sudonym. If I jumble up my surname a bit it makes quite a fabby name! If you see a book by Teirrah Rangmath or something along the lines of that then you know what to do! (buy it pleeeeeeeease!) So far the plot is a tiddly widdly bit like a modern day Romeo and Juliet but it's not because they don't kill themselves. Like it? It's got twists and turns and red herrings and blue herrings and all that jazz! My hobbies include: Hockey Reading Writing Training/Playing with my dog Bella Seeing friends I'm not very organised and not all that decisive, so my stories may go unupdated (is that even a word?) for a while. If that happens to the story you're reading then I'm very sorry, bare with me. Send me some reviews to hurry up and I'll see what I can do- a little motivation goes a long way! My favourite fanfics are Harry Potter ones, and my favourite pairings are: Harry-Draco Hermione-Draco Remus-Sirius Charlie-Hermione Charlie-Harry Percy-Oliver The last two aren't all that popular but I love them. I absolutely adore the head boy/headgirl ones with Draco and Hermione, I began writing one a while ago but stopped. I'm thinkin about taking it up again. I usually read HPDMs or RLSBs though. Well then! If you (are entirely out of your mind) would like to contact me you could add me on myspace: or, if you are so inclined, email me: But I do believe both of those details appear at the top of the profile page thingybob, but oh well, just in case you missed it :D I must shkidaddle as homework beckons. Love to you all. Toodles! H xxx |
