Hi everyone!

My names Misty, I am from a tiny town no one’s heard of in the middle of California; literally, the only way you know where it is is if you pass through it going to somewhere more interesting. I LOVE to read and have recently found out that I can actually put the random plots, ideas, and bits of dialogue floating around in my head into actual stories, one’s that make sense to someone outside my own head ( I know, I was as shocked as anyone!)

I began reading Fanfic when I was, like 12 (nearly two decades I just realized, which I am mindfully trying not to focus on thank you very much) and just kind of slowly got more and more into it. At this point I have a tendency to watch the first or second season of a show then move onto just reading fics for them (they always seem to mess up shows after that to me).

Just a heads up, EVERYTHING I write will be slash. If you don’t like that, well, sorry, but, like, 95% of canon stories/pairings are straight, so it’s not like you don’t have options. Most of the characters I’ll have will be Gay, Ace, Bi, Pan, exc.- I didn’t start out mindfully trying to do this, but I seem to have a tendency to relegate totally heterosexual characters to being kind of one dimensional fillers/Stereotypes, background characters, or straight up villains (so basically, what mainstream media did with pretty much every not-totally-straight character up till like the last decade or so).

The reason I like slash so much is because I can get stories with gay characters as opposed to just ‘Gay Stories’. Let’s face it, most stories involving gay characters can be summed up as: denial, acceptances, depressing homophobic drama, come out, fade away (or apparently, in lesbian stories: all that, end up hooking up with random guy, THEN die). I’m good with all that- except for the last part-, but I like SO many other kinds of stories; action, humor, romance, Scifi, fantasy, I’ll even throw in a western or two now and again, just to mix it up; basically, everything except depressing endings and straight up horror/gore type fics. With slash I can get all that, just with a bit of a gay twist.

Also, most everything I write will be total AU’s. I have always loved taking characters I like in one universe and seeing how they would fit in something completely different. I also really like crossover’s, and have plans for kind of a lot of those.

At this point I have around 30 fandoms I love- I actually paired that down and there are a lot more that I have a passing interest in, but I had to draw the line somewhere…

My top 10 are:

Shadowhunters- Malec, Saphael, Clizzy- (I may need help)

Supernatural- Sabriel, Though I’m good with Destiel too

Teen Wolf- Sterek- Also, Ericka And Boyd are always still alive, I don’t care

Psych- Shassie, great case fics for this

The Librarians- Jake/Ezekiel- LOVE these two SO much

Agents Of Shield- Mack/Fitz And Daisy/Jemma

Static Shock- Virgil/Richie- I loved this cartoon, then I saw that Richie was actually canonly gay, they just never addressed it, (apparently, gang violence, racism , shootings, clear references to drugs, all fine.. teenager being gay? Nope) how can I NOT ship it?

Grimm- Nick/Monroe- Great for Case Fics

Doctor Who- Vastra/Jenny- It’s a lizard woman from the dawn of time and her wife, solving crimes and mysteries in 19th century London, this is FREAKING canon! WHY IS THIS NOT ITS OWN SHOW!!!!

High School Musical- Chad/Ryan (I know, I know, It was big when I was young, okay? I try to ignore this pairing, then I watch one of the movies with my nieces and it comes right back, damn it!)

And, what the heck, let’s just toss the rest of them in too: Steve/Danno (H50), Jack/Nathan(Eureka), Reid/Morgan(Criminal Minds), Connor/Becker(Primeval), Sokka/Zuko(Avatar), Remy/Logan(X-Men), Henry/Mike(Blood Ties), Angel/Wesley(Angel), Xander/Spike(Buffy), Will/Warren(Sky High), Nick/Greg(CSI), Chuck/Casey (Chuck), Neal/Peter(White Collar), Javier/Kevin (Castle), Kono/Jenna(H50- way too few stories with this pairing)

Yeah, I watch too much TV

As of yet I have two series I am writing, but I am kind of obsessed with one of them so the other is just kinda paused right now.

Anyways, as you can see, I probably will end up going kind of everywhere, so there’ll be a LOT to choose from
