Hello there! My name is VoltageStone, or Volt. I started writing fanfiction solely to improve my writing and hone my skills. At some point (within the next decade, hopefully), I plan on publishing my own works. But, since that isn't the case now, I hope you enjoy what I have to offer here. - General -

[Sites]

I am found on here (obviously), AO3 and Wattpad under the same username (VoltageStone) with the same dapper cat icon. The most important thing to note is that not all of my stories are posted across the board.

- This site will have all of my stories simply because this is the first site I have posted fanfics on. This is also where I primarily write my first few chapters of stories, one- two- and three-shots because of the 365 day life-span of drafts.

AO3 - For the most part, this is where I will initially update my stories. This means that longer stories will typically be more up-to-date there after the first few chapters. Not all of the stories that I have on here are transferred over, simply because I am lazy and have no motivation to do so. That said, the number that isn't transferred is very low.

Wattpad - I am picky with the stories I post on Wattpad. The stories posted there are those that I feel best represent myself and my work the best (from 2020 onward). These are profusely edited once done, unlike my others were I will leave typos after a decent amount of time has passed. I also have an updating schedule (Fridays). So, if you want to see me at my best, go over there. You can easily find these stories through the /Wattpad/ in the descriptions, or through the Best Foot Forward! series on AO3.

[Updating]

I have the tendency to pause on writing fanfiction for a couple of weeks/months at a time to a) focus on my own stories, or b) my schedule is too busy. And, after I come back, I start a new story...which leads to an insane mountain of stories to finish. As of now, I am in the process of correcting this and completing the stories that are needed to be completed. (All of the information/reports are down below.)

Now, I will say this: I will never leave a story incomplete. No joke, if a story is never updated and appears to be dead, it means I am dead. If the story isn't being updated, but others are, it means I'm a fucking spaz and not putting attention to it.

Because of this, even though I never ask any readers to do anything, I do suggest you follow a story if you are legit interested. It may be updated within the next week, or it may be updated within a few years. It's a mixed bag that is unpredictable even to me (I'm trying for it not to here on out though...but we'll see what actually happens).

Now, another thing to note is that it takes me a little bit of time to come out with new chapters. I write a lot of words, what can I say? I'm very wordy.

So...yeah. Don't expect a story to be updated consistently because I guarantee you, it probably won't. XD

[Requests]

I do not take them. Reason? Updating.

If otherwise stated, I will never take requests simply because I do not frankly trust myself to proficiently update.

[Covers]

The majority of the covers are simply google images that I've found and put a stack of filters on. So...they ain't mine. Now, some covers are done by other people, and the credits to them are down below. Other covers will have the title, fandom and my username on them; these covers are to the stories that are found on Wattpad.

If you feel like you want to draw a cover for any of my stories, you are welcome to do so. Of course, they must be within the guidelines of this site (they have to be appropriate, essentially). I won't ask for it, but I you want to, I will give full credit where it is due, you will be listed under the credits, and so on. The only exceptions are the stories on Wattpad because they are designed by myself to advertise on said site.

[PMs/Reviews]

I am open to talk. I will answer messages. I won't bite.

With reviews, however, my involvement will be limited. Of course, because I cannot reply to reviews on here other than through PM, it won't happen. But on Wattpad and AO3, I will rarely answer to reviews; the only reviews I will 100% reply to is to answer questions, or to clarify updating plans. I never ask for reviews (In Your Hands is an exception).

The reason for all of this is because I believe that reviews/comments are for the readers to communicate to the writer and each other about the writing/story. It's essentially a reflection of the quality of the story, and the story itself, from the readers. So, I want to leave this as raw and honest as possible. Another reason is, because I will eventually traditionally publish, I will have to prepare myself; I won't be able to protect or defend my writing, so why would I do it at all? My story will have to stand for itself, so that is the standard I put my fanfics on.

For this, I will never delete comments or ban people from commenting. The only times that I will do this (and there hasn't been any thus far) is for obvious reasons such as extreme, radical and harmful behavior. But it's free-range. It's completely in your hands. Do whatever. I read every single one of them, but I am not the one in control of how you review/comment.

[About Stories]

The vast majority of my stories will deal with various mature themes. Also, I tend to stick with the cannon world for most fandoms, though I am slowly beginning to do more AUs with the characters portrayed how they are in their cannon worlds. I rarely use OCs, unless they play an integral part of the story without becoming the focus point. I also only do lesbian relationships; it's all I know, see?

But, anyway, I do play around with a lot of different genres. So if you don't like one story set in the fantasy setting, I do have others that are more contemporary.

[Fandoms]

I have, and will, expand to different fandoms. These are the ones I do, whether it be I've written for them once or multiple times. As of now, I do not have a "main" fandom, and I tend to jump around.

Victorious [Jori; Jade x Tori] : This is my first fandom and is probably the one I love the most. However, I have started to move onto different things. For future stories, this will be almost-certainly all AU's.

Adventure Time [Bubbline; Princess Bubblegum x Marceline] : The ship that actually had me consider writing in the first place (for fanfiction), but I got kinda distracted. :P

Kim Possible [Kigo; Kim Possible x Shego] : Just stumbled upon it. Sounded fun to do.

Little Witch Academia [Dianakko/Diakko; Atsuko (Akko) Kagari x Diana Cavendish] : Literally fell in love with this. Literally binged everything I could, wrote a little something and couldn't stop.

Scooby-Doo (more-so based off of the earliest show) [Daphne x Velma] : Again, stumbled upon it. Sounded fun.

Fallout 4 [Female Sole Survivor x Piper] : I love video games. I love writing. Perfect.

Telltale/Skybound's The Walking Dead [Violetine/Violentine; Clementine x Violet] : Played through the Walking Dead, and Clementine had quickly become my favorite character across all mediums (movies, books, games, etc.). And, fittingly, my admiration for Violet's character continues to grow. Now, this fandom marks the first of my transitional period and expansion.

Of course, because FF only allows for each account to manage one community, I have created 3 separate accounts on here other than my own; if you go to those accounts, you will just find this profile link through the "Favorite Authors" tab, along with the community.

==[IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THE JORI FANDOM w/ others]==

It's really no secret that I have not been updating as regularly for this fandom as I used to. And this is simply because I am going through a transitional period to expand to other fandoms. This doesn't mean I am completely halting any stories for the fandom, but it does mean new stories for Jori will be few and far in between. Because I have been loosing interest in high school settings for stories (going to university in the fall), Jori will not be my main fandom again.

So, for 2020, I am making a concerted effort to finish the stories that I do not find myself making in the future (this is mainly for Jori), or stories with larger followings that have been on accidental hiatus for the past year(s). These do fall into different fandoms depending on the themes; I want to stray slowly away from high school AUs, solely because I am moving away from that part of my life, and mature themes aren't only found there. That said, it doesn't necessarily mean I won't be doing any stories not set in high school ever, just...you know, not as many. These are those stories:

This list is for the stories that I have started in years past, and aren't completed, that I do want to complete by the end of 2020. Will I? Who knows; COVID-19 really wants me to, it seems... Anyhow, this will not necessarily mean that I won't start new multi-chapter stories (cause I'm a dumbass). However, truth be told, out of all of these, Disconnected Facades is at the bottom of the list solely because it is considered on of the stories set in high school that run along the lines of what I would be doing later on. I.e: it's not just another high school story, where The Doggie Project, Rehabilitation, Only a Winter's Tale and Chatter of the Bewitched are.

NOTE FOR IN YOUR HANDS: I am REALLY sorry about this story. Don't worry, it will start back up again once the rest of the Jori stories (not AUs) are completed. I will be able to support this story while writing one or two others, but this mountain is not helping. XD So...there. It will be done, just not as soon as I would hope.

Now, do note that if/when I write a new story for the Jori fandom, it will focus on adults/AUs. The exceptions will be one-shots, though those will be few and far between as well. Concerning Kim Possible and Adventure Time, while I do not have many stories planned for either to begin with, they are more likely to receive new fics.

Lastly, even though these are the stories I do plan on finishing, this does not mean I won't come out with new stories for other fandoms in between (even though I really shouldn't). When I start to update a story on this list, it will most likely mean it is updating to finish; so, when I stop updating for it, the story will be complete unless said otherwise.
