![]() Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings. I've been writing on ffnet for about 10 years now, experimenting with various fandoms but I've discovered that my all-time favourite is Lord of the Rings - not just because I'm in love with the story but because I love the little Lord of the Rings community we have here. I love to read as much as I love to write and I read stories of all kinds while experimenting with different story ideas in my own writing. A few years ago I never thought I'd write an AU because I'm so attached to Tolkien's work, but it turned out to be a wonderful idea and I became very attached to this story and its characters. I firmly believe that every story has merit because when you write a story you put a little part of yourself in there and I also believe that every writer grows and that's what we're doing here - growing together. That being said, I still write mostly romances (because I'm a hopeless romantic at heart) and I can't resist a good love story. I'm very grateful for all my readers and some great friends I was fortunate enough to make while writing for ffnet. I also love getting feedback for my stories and I don't shy away from constructive criticism if it is done respectfully and will contribute to making me a better writer. Speaking of wonderful people. Check out KDSkywalker's profile if you have the chance. Her LotR's fic Reflections: Remixed and the sequel Reflections: Family are some of my absolute favourite on this site. The characters are so relatable and the story is really well-written. If you have a chance, check out my C2 called The Quill-Bearers of Middle-Earth, which I started with KDSkywalker as a collection of Lord of the Rings fiction that will do justice to all the creativity and talent we have in our wonderful fandom. #DoItForFrodo |
