"You have to put yourself in the position of the negative reader, the resistant reader, the reader who doesn't surrender easily, the reader who is alien to you as a type, even the reader who doesn't like what you are writing." - Leo Rosten Well, hello there! Thank you for stopping by my page. I write what comes to mind. Perfectionist at times. Sweet yet sour. Naughty but nice. You get the picture. I've been writing on this site for quiet sometime but I'm always trying to improve. I am very grateful to all my readers, reviewers, and even flamers. You guys are the BEST. I welcome constructive criticism. If you simply hate a story, then don't read it. It's really that simple. There's no need to review if you're not looking into improving it. Instead of just saying something negative about an author's work, HELP them become a better writer. Every author wants to write a piece that people can enjoy so help them out. Share the love of how to write a good story. Additionally, I try and update when I can, but sometimes my schedule doesn't allow me to do so in a timely manner. If I don't complete a story for some reason, I will let you know. The only one I won't be continuing is "Reveries of the Past." Read the last chapter of the story to find out why. I gave the story to someone else to finish with credit given to me, so if you see another author claiming it's their original work (even with a different title) -- they're a LIAR. Most importantly, I want to thank you for your reviews! Your reviews are what fuels my fire. It really is inspiring and keeps me writing. I'm not the best writer in the world, in fact, I feel so feeble compared to some of the stories I've read on this site. But, I try my best to give you the best quality I can. I also try to take the time to review any grammatical errors, but I don't always catch them before a chapter is posted. I do go back and make edits when I notice them after the fact. Trust me, I hate errors...so I know how you feel. But, I'm only human. Anonymous Reviews are disabled as well. I approve GUEST reviews at my own discretion. I like to be able to reply back to my readers and address any questions, concerns, opinions, etc. and I can't do that if I can't contact you. PM me if you like, too. I've noticed that many (not all) anon reviewers review anonymously so that they can say whatever they want without having to face the rebuttal or thoughts of the author regarding their review of the story. I really think it's a cop out. If the author can take it, then the reviewer should be able to handle what the author has to say in return. And besides, it only takes a second to log in! I'm sorry if that's frustrating for some of you, but that's just how it goes. Lastly, please, please, please, don't forget to keep on reviewing! Although I might not respond, I take everything into consideration and your thoughts and compliments truly matter to me. Thanks again. :) Cheers! PinkMartini Other writings - fictionpress.com (1.)
