A series based on Tom and Mary meeting every year on a particular day. They'll discuss what's happening in their lives as well as the other inhabitants of Downton Abbey.

"A love story?" The old woman questioned, staring at her college going granddaughter through thick-lensed glasses. "Well, I guess I could tell you one."

That summer had been hard but they'd survived it and in return gotten much more than it had attempted to take.

Most are extremely brief, all will be stand-alone vignettes, completely unhindered by plot. ;-) Some sweet, some bittersweet, some humorous, some poignant, all romantic. Gold Train is a 3 part episode that I always felt lacked an ending. Much of the story centers around Doc. This is the events of Gold Train as seen through his eyes. Some parts and dialog are taken from the episode and some are as Doc sees them.

Matt's heart and soul are in jeopardy. Can he find her before it is too late.

"Seems to me I left 3 or 4 times ..." Kitty from Gold Train:The Bullet (season 17). This story picks up near the end of The Badge (season 15). Sometimes our actions have consequences we never even dreamed of!

"That's where you're wrong," said Tom. He reached out to squeeze her hand again. "You don't have to undertake everything alone, Mary. I'm here." There was something so intimate about the moment that Mary met his gaze fully and completely. "Is this all in my head?" She wondered, "Or have you been feeling this, too?" AU starting in S6 E7.

Matt's frustration is matched by Kitty's determination.

This is an old story from 2012 that was deleted by my haunted laptop a while back. No kidding. The cursor must've been possessed by a poltergeist because I watched it click-click-clicking on my screen. Anyway, yeah. I gotta new laptop now. Return to Dodge shouldn't have ended with Matt riding away, leaving Kitty alone and crying. An after-the-credits story that attempts to do better.

It's hard to pigeon-hole into genres because it is a little bit of everything. It is very pro-Lily/Severus, but I try to stick with canon. They won't end up together forever, anyway.
