I am a very awkward and insecure girl, who would just melt into a puddle if someone complimented me. :) I don't know how to talk to people without sounding like a total dork. I am very smart and I love acting so much, I want to become an actress someday. Favorite Activities: Acting, Singing, Video Games, Laughing, Writing, TV, Playing Sports, Hanging out with my friends and volunteering at my Church. Favorite Colors: Blue, Red and Purple. Favorite Animals: All of them. Favorite Movie: Captain America: Civil War. Favorite Superhero: Captain America. I honestly believe there's not enough fanfiction about this guy. I love pop, heavy metal, rock, and just about anything. Only a Captain America fan will get the hilarity in this joke: "So, I was just sitting in the living room, doing stuff on my computer, when I over heard my sister and mom's conversation. My sister was saying; 'sometime I'd really love to go to it, they even serve fondue at the table!'" Copy and paste if 'you understood that reference'. ;) Please read this: This is a true story. All schools have a class clown, someone that gets on everyones nerves and that no one likes. There was one of these boys in this one school. Nobody liked him at all. He had no friends, the teachers hated him for his disruptiveness, and the students found him annoying beyond belief. He never seemed to care. One day, he had finally stepped on his teachers last nerve. What the teacher did was make everyone in the class stand up and tell the boy something they didn't like about him. As each of the thirty students stood up and said something about him they didn't like, he only sat and didn't seem to mind. All of the students did it. That day, when school was out, the boy went home, grabbed his dads gun, and shot himself in the head. If you think that the teacher was to blame, and that what she did was morally wrong and completely shameful, copy and paste this into your profile. They refuse and tell her that they can't have girls on the team. A 25 year old guy asks a group of girls if he can also sign their petition to stop people's belittling of women. They call him a hypocrite and label him a bully. A 12 year old girl walks alone from school, after being made fun of, to her home. She overhears her parents arguing over her and hears one of her parents saying how they wish she was dead. She cries herself to sleep and commits suicide the next day. A young White man is walking down the street, when a group of Blacks attack him. He does what anybody would do; he defends himself. The world labels him racist. A Black woman walks into a bar and notices how she's the only dark skinned person there. She doesn't think much of it, until the bartender notices her. He escorts her out of the building, saying how she's not allowed in his club for 'security' reasons. A 15 year old girl ends up at home 10 minutes past her curfew because of traffic. Her drunk father finds out, and hits her; like he always does. When he's done, he explains that he's punishing her because he loves her. A nine year old boy is in his car with the rest of his family, laughing at a joke someone told, when they suddenly hear and see a car coming directly towards them; a drunk driver operating it. Five days later he's at a funeral for his own family. An athlete receives an A on his math test. People label him a nerd, and his coach kicks him off of the football team, because he isn't 'devoted' to the team. A seven year old boy walks down the hallway in his new school, and everyone ignores him and turns their back on him. All because he has something called, 'down-syndrome'. A 17 year old girl is labeled 'uptight', 'no fun' and deemed 'undateable', because she has something called morals. A White woman and a Black man married and now have a family. Their kids are made fun of because they're not 'normal', and the couples parents won't even talk to their kids anymore, because they 'disappointed' them. Repost if you think stereotypes and 'normality' suck. This world is full of corruption. Be yourself and don't let anyone take that away from you. Teenage suicide in the United States remains comparatively high in the 15 to 24 age group with 10,000 suicides in this age range in 2004, making it the third leading cause of death for those aged 15 to 24. By comparison, suicide is the 11th leading cause of death for all those age 10 and over, with 33,289 suicides for all US citizens in 2006. In the United States, for the year 2005, the suicide rate for both males and females age 24 and below was lower than the rate for ages 25 and up. One comment you make may just fly by you within a matter of seconds, but it may forever be remembered by the person you said it to. Be the one who helps people, not the one who hurts them. We all must try to be supportive of others, we will sometimes fail, but all we have to do is try. Please, make it your new year resolution to bring down the suicidal rates this year. And please, watch what you say, for it could take a human life. If you want to end bullying, we have to do our part. Please, pass this on. Read A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it? Repost this if you truly believe in God. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." –– John 3:16-17 "He then brought them out and asked, 'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith –– and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God –– not by works so that no one can boast." –– Ephesians 2: 8-9 He had no servants, yet they called him Master He had no degree, yet they called him Teacher He had no medicine, yet they called him Healer He had no army, yet kings feared him He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world He committed no crime, yet they crucified him He was buried in a tomb, yet he lives today He is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord, Savior, and Redeemer, and could not live without him in my life. Deck of Cards It was quiet that day, the guns and the mortars, and land mines for some reason hadn't been heard. The young soldier knew it was Sunday, the holiest day of the week. As he was sitting there, he got out an old deck of cards and laid them out across his bunk. Just then an army sergeant came in and said, 'Why aren't you with the rest of the platoon?' The soldier replied, 'I thought I would stay behind and spend some time with the Lord.' The sergeant said, 'Looks to me like you're going to play cards.' The soldier said, 'No, sir. You see, since we are not allowed to have Bibles or other spiritual books in this country, I've decided to talk to the Lord by studying this deck of cards.' The sergeant asked in disbelief, 'How will you do that?' 'You see the Ace, Sergeant? It reminds me that there is only one God. The Two represents the two parts of the Bible, Old and New Testaments The Three represents the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. The Four stands for the Four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John . The Five is for the five virgins, there were ten, but only five of them were glorified. The Six is for the six days it took God to create the Heavens and Earth. The Seven is for the day God rested after making His Creation. The Eight is for the family of Noah and his wife, their three sons and their wives -- the eight people God spared from the flood that destroyed the Earth. The Nine is for the lepers that Jesus cleansed of leprosy. He cleansed ten, but nine never thanked Him. The Ten represents the Ten Commandments that God handed down to Moses on tablets made of stone. The Jack is a reminder of Satan, one of God's first angels, but he got kicked out of heaven for his sly and wicked ways and is now the joker of eternal hell. The Queen stands for the Virgin Mary. The King stands for Jesus, for he is the King of all kings. When I count the dots on all the cards, I come up with 365 total, one for every day of the year. There are a total of 52 cards in a deck; each is a week - 52 weeks in a year. The four suits represent the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Each suit has thirteen cards -- there are exactly thirteen weeks in a quarter. So when I want to talk to God and thank Him, I just pull out this old deck of cards and they remind me of all that I have to be thankful for.' The sergeant just stood there. After a minute, with tears in his eyes and pain in his heart, he said, 'Soldier, can I borrow that deck of cards?' Please let this be a reminder and take time to pray for all of our soldiers who are being sent away, putting their lives on the line fighting for US. Prayer for the Military. Please keep the wheel rolling. It will only take a few seconds of your time, but it'll be worth it to read on... Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them. Bless them and their families. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen. When you read this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our servicemen and women all around the world. There is nothing attached, but this can be very powerful. Of all the gifts you could give a Soldier, prayer is the very best one. Do not stop the wheel, please -- just send this on. I love God so I won't be writing any bad stuff. Sorry, I just don't like writing or reading that kind of thing. I will be entering High-School this Autumn. Oh, and I've only ever seen one Marvel movie, but I have seen a ton of clips for all the different movies. Please correct me if I get something wrong, but please, no flames. And I'm super sorry if I have stolen anybody's ideas, I just write what I think of. So, I think that's about it. For now. :) Bare with me. |
