![]() Author has written 10 stories for Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Witcher/Wiedźmin, Andrzej Sapkowski. ~ About Me ~ If you have stumbled across one of my stories, and this profile, then hello awesome reader, or fellow writer! I am the one, the only, mischievous Elf of Mischief, Aearvir. I fell, quite literally, into the world of fanfiction a bit later than most, while feeling rather sad and sorry for myself recovering from a riding accident, and it rekindled my dormant love of writing. I dwell in Australia with two doggos, one pony, and a couple muggles. I'm a bookdragon who loves going on real life adventures. I'm of the Summer Court, and a proud Slytherin. I love, love, love reading fairy-tale retellings. I think it was 2015 I started publishing to , and it is 2020 now! Wow! Over the years, writing and playing with ideas within my favourite fiction worlds, I've grown as a writer which is pretty neat! I read back through earlier works and think; who the "F" wrote this disaster!!? Seriously, all those dialogue tags! All that telling and not showing! The commas before and not after... Ugh the horror! But, it is also so exciting to see how much my writing has improved and is still improving. I am also so grateful to all my beautiful readers on here who have read through those grammatical and writing style disasters and still seen and enjoyed the story! You guys rock, and it is because of all your awesome reviews I've had the courage to keep writing, keep sharing, and ultimately improve! The mysterious characters, the ones we know little about, are my favourite characters to explore. Tolkien has left much to the imagination with many of his characters, especially the Elves, and character's like Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter, Loki, and Geralt of Rivia are fun to explore too. Like many writers on here, I have original stories in the works. One should be published by the end of 2020, with another to follow in 2021. I'll be honest, juggling writing my own stuff, and trying to keep up with updating any of my fics here, has made things a bit crazy! I'm trying to share my time with both, but books also don't write themselves! I've had to put a few fics on hiatus, to focus on finishing others. I try to update as often as possible but I do lead a pretty busy and random life with lots of adventures and hobbies and projects thrown into the mix of everyday. I also run my own business, which is a bit of a time hog! This means I may update three times a week, I may update once a fortnight, or once in two months. Bear with me, life is meant for living, and I live mine to the extreme! ~ Stories ~ Tolkien There Were Ten Is my very first fic, and while it is still in the progress of completion, it seems my sassy warrior princess elf with a healthy dose of flaws and silliness has gathered a bit of a following, which I am so chuffed about! This story is very near completion but, I have pulled down the chapters to re-edit and clean them up a bit before re-adding them, and as I improve in skill, will likely do it again, but next time without pulling everything down! Everyone following this story; please bear with me. It will all be worth it! Thanks. Four of my stories are linked to There Were Ten and follow events of Aerlaer and Legolas and how their past intertwines. There Were Ten - The Nameless Ones - The Elfling - The-Almost-Years The Trouble With Love is a stand alone story I am having a play with and is based on my home country, Australia!! This one is my only first person style story and it is often subjected to infuriating grammar glitches. This one's currently on Hiatus. Fated is a Tenth Walker stand alone which I am turning the usual story of The Lord of the Rings on its head. It's cannon but not cannon and so much fun to write! Will eventually get its much needed re-edit! I promise I'll finish it first! Sea Salt is another Legolas fic, stand alone, which I am slowly working on. It is something different, based after the Ring War and, a major focus is the sea longing. It is a rather poignant one to write. Currently on hiatus cause I'm a terrible person! Harry Potter Letters to Raven is my first Potterverse fic, ever and, my newest little project. It is based around Draco from third year to the end of the war; depicting his views, feelings and how they are influenced by others and, his own beliefs as he grows up. Also has an OC and all the usual cannon characters. This one I am writing to really challenge myself, to see if I can create likable, relate-able, OC's in a fandom other than Lotr/Tolkienverse. It's my Oc vs the million Dramiones! Dare you to give it a read! ;) Utopia is my second Potterverse. Again, Draco is our protagonist, finding himself in the care of a muggle girl, thousands of miles from Wizarding Britain, at the conclusion of the battle of Hogwarts. Its not a Dramione, sorry Dramione shippers, but Hermione is a prominent third character with her own POV throughout the story. It focuses on Draco recovering from the war, his experiences during, and how it shapes his future. Also explores his dive into the deep end of the muggle world! The Witcher I haven't been excited about a series for a long time, and I absolutely love Netflix's adaption of The Witcher! I'm a total noob, so will probably never play Wild Hunt, but have been YouTubeing the game play! Currently reading through Andrzej Sapkowski's series, and highly recommend it. Heart of Gold - A Witcher Story is a work in progress product of getting itchy fingers to explore the world of the Witcher in story! The tale is set on The Continent, I believe well after the book timeline. Geralt, is tasked with finding and bringing a half-elf illegitimate princess back to the land of Verden, where she must challenge her usurper sister for the crown. Some of my fics can also be found on: A03 - Elf_Of_Mischief Wattpad - @Elf_of_Mischief ~ Original Works ~ I currently have three individual stories in different stages of works in progress under my registered author name, Jessa Pearl. A twist on Beauty and the Beast Emberling Find the lost princess, bring her home, join in union, save the forest. It all sounds straightforward to Prince Griffin, until he meets Aralais, her boyfriend, and her plans. Ara's life is perfect.
